exactly what i did on mine when I had my converters replaced. Removed the center 2 mufflers and left the ones on the exhaust tip end. Replaced with a single dual input/output magnaflow. Really happy with the results. Quiet enough the kids still stay asleep in the back on trips but opens up when...
The LR4 cats would be harder to get to then say a D2 or D1. I know with the Texas Rover group I have seen a few posts of them being stolen on the earlier discoveries but nothing yet on the LR4.
I actually just installed a new HD security cam/flood lights to watch over both my rovers for this...
depending on the age of the popup you might need to add resisters to the turn signals on the camper in order for the 4s electronics to detect that it is back there. I will see if i can find the write up that was posted on here.

It was straight forward. The only issue I had was with the rear fuel return lines and getting them released above the axle so I could fully drop the tank. I did better on time the second time around.
If you do the swap yourself make sure you get the o ring seal with it as well. Mine was leaking like yours was and I already had the part but did not have the o ring in yet. I decided to drop the tank and just go ahead and swap the dust cover without the new seal. well 3 months later I was...
I did my 11 5.0 water pump, cross overs, thermostat, and hoses last weekend. No major issues and getting to the rear crossover was not as bad a I thought using a short handle ratchet. The only issue I ran into was the bleeder on the heater hose in the back was brittle. I did some research and...
I got the purge valve in today. Sure enough that was the fix. Filled up right after and no further issues. Thanks for posting this Michael and Brizzity!
I ran into the same issues installing mine last weekend. The torx b olts just spun in place. Finally able to remove the handle and then i removed the screws from there. Cleaned up and used some copper grease to make sure that did not happen again. Only other issue was when I was bolting the...
Thanks for posting the update. My '11 LR4 starting acting this exact way this week. Going to try the TSB as well to see if that will address the issue.
Nanocom would be the closest thing to a GAP which would allow reprogramming of modules. For just code reading and adaptive resets the ICarsoft LR2 works well for this and can be found much cheaper than the Nanocom. If you just want to read and reset engine codes a simple ELM bluetooth odb2 code...
Austin Rover works is local. I believe they work on newer LRs. Also if you can do the drive Hill County British is well worth it just north of San Antonio.
I have the prospeed one from Lky8. Shipping sucked from the UK due to the virus but install was somewhat straight forward. It did install directly over the stock plate and the price was along the lines of the other one linked to at the
time. This was in April of last year. I ordered a prospeed...
If you look at the front portion of the guard you can see where it is cut a bit smaller than the rest to allow for motion of the mirror. i have really liked them so far.
I found some in channel ones on fleabay that are very close to the design of the WeatherTechs on my D2. Installed over a year ago and no complaints.

Sadly magnaflow PN 21-717 and 21-716 have been in the "part coming soon" status now for a long time. Not certain if a generic magnaflow cat would just drop in or not. I really wish they would make them soon. I have been running mangaflow cats on my d2 since i installed them in 2010.

Mine failed earlier this year after my fuel injectors failed on my 11 LR4. I looked around at OEM ones and then called my local muffler shop who has done some work on my D2, Evoque, and RAM in the past. The quoted me $1200 for new cats which seemed like a really good deal vs the stealership. I...
Best bet it is use the guide they have. they now have a few options that will screw into the base and provide a firm grip. When I ordered they did not even have the wireless charging base but they is ok as I run a 36w charger for mine anyways.

I have had it installed now for about 3 years. Very happy with the mount after coming from a CD based...
Added some TF wheel spacers I picked up from LKY8 during the black friday sale. Nice to have some help this time when the little one drove up in her rover. Up next will be new ball joints, tie rod ends, and axle seals for the D2. Lets see if she will try to help with that one.
