New to me 2014; how to start?
uhhhh, how have I been on this board and a SC V6 LR4 owner for almost 3 years and never new that the engine was a V-8 block with 2 plugged cylinders???!?!? I am dumbfounded. anyone ever put a SC from the 5.0 V-8 RRS or RR and unplug the cylinders? Or is the LS swap we saw the better route for...- backcountryLR4

Thoughts and experiences from recent road trip
My favorite color hands down. Just couldn't find one that met all my criteria after shopping for 4 months. I do like the fuji white that I got, which had everything else I wanted. But every time I see a corris grey with black pack it makes me a little sad/jealous.- backcountryLR4

Also the turning indicators appear to be clear which is definitely not US spec. And makes me jealous... The orange in the headlights doesn't look as good as the all white and black for UK versions which would make my almost storm troopery car look cleaner. Nit picky I agree.- backcountryLR4

2014-2016 model buying question.

Yep, I have the same thing which is very annoying and noticeable at normal driving speeds around town. Took it in to the dealer and described the issue in great detail and after they drove it around they said it sounds like all the other SCV6s they have driven and noticed nothing wrong. Anyone running Tuffant steel wheels yet?
I have KO2s on compos and besides looks and being relatively quiet, I don't have much good to say about them. I don't have any comparative experience with any other A/T tires however. Biggest complaint is how they hold up. They wear like garbage. Limited off-roading has all but destroyed them...- backcountryLR4

^^^This x 1000%^^^ I do love a perfectly clean, mirror black paint job. However, on the LR4 I feel it ruins the lines and does indeed look like a boring box, instead of a unique, sexy box... The alpine roof just looks weird without the contrast of the 3rd row window. I bet it would look better...- backcountryLR4

Correct. No such thing as LUX with Landmark. It was one or the other. LUX was available in both 15 and the early 16 models. By midway through the 16 run, they just started throwing what stuff they had left and made it a "Landmark edition." There is not a 2015 Landmark that exists on the planet.- backcountryLR4
