I would contact LRNA and explain your entire history and the current update from your dealer. The worst that can happen is they confirm the dealers story. I could see how the first 15's would be standard fitment and your custom order would follow, but I'd check with LRNA.
Width and height aren't your only concern, you need to have a 111 load rating. I believe the Discovery 4 is supplied in some markets with 109 but in the usa I believe it's 111.
I for one would be thrilled to have my local dealer update the look of my D3. I've never heard of this before, I guess it's possible that they didn't have parts but what if you didn't want the upgrade? Would they take it back to '13 when they did have parts in stock?

I would write a letter to LR USA with all of the service history printed out from your dealer. That is an absurd amour of errors faults poor build etc.

The article is right about the baby or smaller Discovery, but the full size replacement is years away. LR would never introduce the 2014 LR4 then within a year reveal it's replacement. LR has been testing the small Discovery (former LR2 / Freelander) for over a year there are numerous articles...
With the availability for anyone to google solutions these days it's shocking that the dealer thinks they can get away with this. They must have a pretty good success rate of pulling these stunts with owners who don't have the time nor care to try to do things on their own. I would send the...
