Brake Master Cylinder Problem
Have you had your pads changed recently? I had mine done about 250 miles ago and directly afterwards the brakes were alarmingly soft / spongy. Now they're getting better. If not, I've read a few posts on the disco3 uk forum that describes your condition. -

I have auto dimming function now. I need to look at the mirror mount. Does the mirror itself house the electronics that control the functions (garage door, etc.), or is that done by the D3's ecu? Thanks for the reply! -

It is a damm shame !!!!
LR also released a more robust ball joint in 2008. Had mine replaced under warranty, along with lower steering shaft (per TSB), and front bushings. This fixed my front knock. Also have them put in the shims on the front and rear ARB. -
2006 LR3 interior door handles
My door handles snap, crackle, and pop as well. I drove an '09 at my local dealers when my D3 was in for service, the '09 handle crackled as well. Guess they never fixed the design. I don't know of any aftermarket handles or improved handles. -
Sunroof Arms
Just checked the arms on my sunroof. They're cracked - and this is my 2nd set. Dealer replaced the sunroof mechanism 1.5 years ago because of the cracks. Never Ending Faults
HDC and other faults are a symptom of a low battery. If the dealer replaced your battery and did not reflash the memory completely - eliminating the history of the previous faults - they can return. Dealer just called and said that they now hear the noise and believe it to be coming from the emergency parking brake cable clanking against a threading loop. They say that they can reproduce the noise and that they were able to grease the area and reduce the noise. I am skeptical but hopeful... -
