    Nameplate replacement pricing?

Yeah I've watched a couple vids, I could prolly do it but I love my wife and don't want to hear it if anything goes awry :vollkomme Under the hood, no prob. Cosmetically, that's a diff story if it doesn't unscrew or pop right off and drop right back in place haha

    Nameplate replacement pricing?

Planning to get the hood and tailgate nameplates swapped from matte silver to gloss black. Was thinking of DYI but not too keen on it coming out crooked or messing up my paint job with no recourse. Dealership detail shop is quoting me $500, going to see what locals might charge, but curious if...

    2012 headlamp lens replacements

Thanks everyone! I have a rotary already so I'll get a packet of sanding discs and a buffing pad. Anyone have a link to a specific UV film from 3M or should I go with whatever I find that I think would work?

    2012 headlamp lens replacements

Mine are pretty scuffed-up, tried various scratch removal kits but to no real avail. Def don't need new assemblies so I'm looking to replace just the lenses. Not much comes up in searches so I'm curious if anyone else has had luck. Thanks

MAF sensor and O2 sensor bad?

I just replaced my bank 1 upstream O2 sensor as it was preventing my emissions monitors from getting ready. No CEL, no DTC so it can be a bit of rabbit hole. Have you tried cleaning your MAFs first?

    "Bucking" during acceleration

Thanks! Honestly it's been on the road since I've had the issue in July (but don't tell NJ MVC that lol). It took a cold call to my now Indy inquiring about replacing fuel injectors (ala the dealer's recommendation) to have him throw-up flags and ask me to come in. Truck runs like a champ now.

    "Bucking" during acceleration

It might, does your truck also have a rough idle in P? The O2 helps regulate the fuel mixture and once I had it replaced I noticed an immediate improvement in acceleration and idle. If you have a decent reader, check the short term fuel trim for each bank, if you're seeing +10% on either side...

    "Bucking" during acceleration

So the truck passed inspection today! Ended up being a bad O2 sensor on Bank 1, wouldn't let the other monitors complete and also resolved by "bucking" issue. Shouts to my new Indy Andy over at ASC Auto in Highlands, NJ. A real stand-up guy who knows his stuff.

    Heated windshield not working

Have you checked the underside of the fusebox for a diagram? My LR4 has them swapped to the F-slots above to the left (where the pink 30 A fuses are)

What's that about a melted fuse box? @____@ Bottom ribbon connector, popped the trim and started smelling burnt plastic and here we are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Wondering if the fatigue in the ribbon cable is responsible for the short...

Someone posted a while back, looks like the TSB was never fully launched due to inconsistency? https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/window-heater-fuse-issue.25093/

(UPDATE) First Winter with the girl and...

Update: Looks like mine was retro fitted with the 40A fuses for both sides (notice the sticker over FL1 to FL8). They're a pain to pull (already cracked the top off one) so going to buy a couple before I continue with the swap.

(UPDATE) First Winter with the girl and...

So I went blindly by the manual and didn't bother to look under the engine fuse box cover. Lo and behold the windscreen heater fuses are 40A and located in a completely different location. Further research uncovered a service bulletin stating that the windscreen requires 40A fuses instead of...

Engine fuse box slot 15 doesn't have terminals for the fuse, only slot 18. Any run into loose terminals before?

    O2 Sensor Locations > 2012 5.0 V8

Thank you sir, I'll be doing some crawling around this weekend it seems.

    O2 Sensor Locations > 2012 5.0 V8

Anyone have a diagram or know where these are located? Looking specifically for the upstream aka "front" but knowing where both are would be helpful. I have the workshop manual but it's specific to the V6. Thanks

GAP Tool > "Clear Adaptive Values" for PCM = Reflash?

Anyone know if these mean the same thing? My PCM software is up to date so GAP was like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ when I asked about re-flashing the PCM via Fast Lane

    Extended Warranty

Did all those fail or we're you able to have it covered as "just to be safe"?

    Extended Warranty

Approaching 90k on my 2012, bought used about 6 months ago. Anyone have an extended warranty through a 3rd party like Carchex or Car Shield? Thanks

Reflashing IPC ECU with GAP IIDTool ?

None taken :) It def was easy, the option to "Always display" wasn't conspicuous at first in the "Digital Speed" menu. Just needed to scroll-up. Thanks

Reflashing IPC ECU with GAP IIDTool ?

I'm having issues enabling the digital MPH, do you remember what your exact settings are to get this to display? Thanks

    2011 LR4 water leak - rear gate

Just noticed I answered this is the other forum lol I had a leak in the passenger-side A pillar over the summer, ended up having to pull the headliner down around there to diagnose the issue. Did the usual check on the sunroof drains and it ended up being a very slow leak from the rack mount...

Fault Code U0401-64 - Signal Plausibility Failure ECU->TCM

Yeah, hopefully the same will work for me, will let everyone know how it works out. I ended up getting a GAP tool but I'm wondering if I should just leave it to the pro to re-flash. Not too keen on potentially bricking my truck

    Auto Highbeam Upgrade

To piggyback on my note above it looks like GAP tool could possibly accomplish this in conjunction with a rearview mirror equipped with the proper sensor https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/faq/ (second entry)
