2015 V6 coolant pipes done. Pics of old pipes
From what I'm seeing on ours with less miles, I'd go ahead and replace them. At least I'd do the front which I imagine is a much easier DIY than the rear? honestly, our rear pipes look great. as for leaking, ours did not, but every time my wife pulled into the garage, I could smell coolant...- Davidinseattle

well, they were definitely crumbling. The tech put the pieces that fell off in the box with the parts. Our LR4 has 54,000 on it. So parts were in state of decay at what i would consider low mileage. That said, it is six years old.- Davidinseattle

Coolant pipe failure (SCV6)
It's way more expensive to have done after they fail. We are having ours done at an Indi tomorrow. Out the door price is $1400 and something. Our Dealer quoted us $1900. For us, it's an insurance policy. We just rolled over 50k miles and ours is a 2015. There have been reports of v6 failures...- Davidinseattle

Water pump replaced, still leaking coolant
If you didn't bleed the system properly, that means there may be air still trapped in the system. After about 1 year of driving with our 2015, it suddenly just lost coolant enough to trigger the light. Mike, we did the Shafer Canyon and Potash Road route with our F-350 Crewcab 4x4 Diesel. Great trip if you want some epic vistas. Not for the faint of heart at the end with the switchbacks just b4 you get into Canyonlands, but soooo awesome...- Davidinseattle
