2012 LR4 18,000 miles replacing the breaks myself.

Bill, At what mileage did you do rotors? I remember on my Cayenne S that the dealer tried to convince me that the rotors need replaced at 30k, it's second set of pads. I ran them find until 60k with just brake pad replacements. No issues and no shudder. As for the back rotors, I never...- Davidinseattle

low coolant in 2015 LUX
It's already scheduled next week for a dealer visit. Just wondering if anyone has had similar concerns. In my experience, a dealer is much more likely to address the symptoms and not the cause, which means just adding coolant and not worrying about why it is low.- Davidinseattle

Low coolant light when on the wife's Lux. Any issues out there that I don't know about? No leaks but checked the reservoir and it is low for sure. A bit worried having a background in the industry. Agree, still pretty pedestrian. As for the tailgate, given the concave shape of the rear hatch and the curved top side of the rear bumper, I would say there is zero chance of a tailgate.- Davidinseattle

Well, the lux we have is pretty nice and I just helped my buddy by a loaded CX5, I can tell you that's a poor comparison. Even if I concede to your point, the expectations for a ground up replacement (LR4 to LR5) are very different than the expectations for a sheet metal upgrade (LR3 to LR4)...- Davidinseattle

not sure what they are trying to do on the ring with that thing. Holy crap, I hope they are not suggesting it has any performance abilities on the track. Wet Carpets and Headliner - Water Leak
two stage epoxy resin with wood flour and let it harden over the drain tube before reinstalling the headliner. I used it to secure tubing in my kayak along the gunwale on the inside of the boat.
