the LR4 19inch tire dilemma
Is anyone running 255 60 19s? I want a taller sidewall and honestly don't mind the stock wheels. There are a quite few options available in that size(michelin defender LT, etc) but for most of them, the load rating is 109-110, which, as I understand, is borderline for this heavy thing.- TrinidadLR4

Thanks all! My previous truck came from the factory with rails and had cross bars already so the skybox just clamped onto those, nothing I had to buy extra. Thanks for the info. Won't put light bars on it, and doubt I will put anything else on the roof except that box. Maybe a slim roof rack? don't know. But good points to consider, with the glass roof.- TrinidadLR4

Most likely a dumb question: after buying my lr4, I realized that it doesn't have roof rails or cross bars. But, it looks like it has mounting points for a rack, etc. I have a roof box left over from my old SUV, a Yakima Skybox 16 Carbonite. Brought it home last night, truck drives great. Slight shimmy at 55-65mph, most likely needs an alignment and tires balanced. When cold, it's giving me a low coolant level warning along with the red triangle, so have to top it off and see what's what. I'm thinking the water pump issue would not...- TrinidadLR4
