HD vs non-HD package LR4
I feel really dumb asking this....but ill throw myself out to the wolves anyway. Battery Low Start Vehicle Message
the plug does look rough, but is it salvageable? clean it, use a pick to realign the pins, etc. if it cant be reused, start with any of the numbers that are on the plug. google may turn up a result. It doesn't look like just a wiring repair, rather someone has already replaced that harness plug...- DaytonaRS7

Battery Low Start Vehicle Message
Could be bad battery. When a load(starting) is put on the battery, the voltage drop may be too much. The only way to know is by testing voltage as the car is starting.- DaytonaRS7

No signs of mine failing, until it was too late. I checked for any codes about 1 month prior (just for "fun") using IID tool, and nothing came up. Bunch of error codes. Alternator?
Im assuming its my alternator. currently waiting on a new one to be delivered (delayed until Friday) i had an oil leak months ago that dripped on the alternator, combine that with 145k on the clock, i wouldn't be surprised if its time had come. i will add though, the regulator wire harness plug...- DaytonaRS7

Looking to purchase - 2012 - LR4 - Advice
6 owners is alot. and weird that it had 2 owners in 2 years. just some food for thought... my Audi with multi-projector LED headlights is not as good as my wifes Mercedes with single projector LED headlights. the Mercedes throws light farther forward adn ot the sides, and has a sharper, flat cutoff. comparing either of these to the the LR4...- DaytonaRS7

i thought about this on my 2011 with HID headlights (non-adaptive). The first hurdle i ran into was most LED conversion kits are made to go from halogen -> LED. even if i could locate a HID to LED conversion, I was very concerned how the LR4s finicky electrical system would react. Yes,, luckily I was soo close to home. And yes, restricted performance was one of the messages. It was shifting terrible and riding out gears, so I'm not sure if performance was actually restricted though. I drove slow and easy since it wasn't driving correct.- DaytonaRS7

Bunch of error codes. Alternator?
Jumped the car. Instantly get charging system errors. Within 30 seconds I end up with similar random system errors as the first post, and the dash shuts off. Battery wiring is snug and doesn't look like any visible shorts. While running I'm getting about 8v from the battery. For the $350...- DaytonaRS7

Kind of, for 2 minutes. It was 12:30 am and 25 degrees. Ill look again today, try to jump it and check voltages with a multimeter. Hopping I can get it started to get into the garage. 2011 LR4 Misfire/rough idle
the liquid coming out of your tailpipe could be water. 100% normal. Its more noticeable in winter as exhaust gases cool faster and condense. has the car been overheated? The crossover pipes don't directly cause blown head gasket. its the lack of coolant and overheating that causes head gasket...- DaytonaRS7

Coolant Level Question
Have you actually looked at the truck to try and diagnose? a leak or low coolant should take all of 10 minutes to determine. If its neither of these, could be a sensor.- DaytonaRS7

Another LR4 Saved from Coolant Death
I only see the rear, #12. There is a "large" diameter pipe between what arrows 3 and 4 point to; the pipe just ends at the top.. where it ends is where the front crossover begins. what is it your trying to figure out? EDIT: post 8 in this thread clearly shows them both...- DaytonaRS7

Another LR4 Saved from Coolant Death
If i have my LR4 long enough, ill be adding the water pump, front, and rear crossover to the "replace every 50k miles" maintenance. for me, that's about every 5 years and will be almost 200k on the odometer. Need help identifying this wire
not sure about that wire. Junction (fuse) box p101 has a 3p micro relay (r132) and fuse #53 (20a) which control the cigarette lighters/outlets. i think fuse box P101 is the one under the glove box.- DaytonaRS7

not usually. the rear pipe is almost impossible to see at all. the front pipe is mostly covered by the intake manifold (or supercharger). its this portion of the pipe, that you cant see, that deteriorates from heat.- DaytonaRS7
