physically, yes. maybe internally have different dampening? all i know is they fit correct and ride well. i came to the conclusion that LR3 and LR4 struts are interchangeable since aftermarket (arnott) lists compatible OEM part numbers from LR3 and LR4 for their replacement struts.- DaytonaRS7

Heated windshield not working
following up on my heated windshield saga... Safelite has reviewed the fuyao glass they installed and determined they will replace it with OE glass, with actual Land rover branding. It will take a few days to order, but this will hopefully be the end-all solution.- DaytonaRS7

What did you do with your Lr4 Today?
Replaced rear struts and fixed a squaking rear hatch. Rear shocks were completely shot at 145k. Took about 1 min for full rebound when compressed by hand- DaytonaRS7

Does your date move to european format in its own?
Sometimes batteries are defective. Just because it's new, doesn't mean it good. How was it tested? Voltage off? Voltage on? Voltage during cranking? Some more diagnosis on your end is needed. But a quick Google search leads me to many threads with no answer regarding random day/time resets...- DaytonaRS7

OIL LOSS LR4
While it isn't right, That is not much oil loss (burning). Some manufacturers won't even consider diagnosing unless it's 1qt per 1k miles. And to be honest, you should change your oil more than every 8k. If it was me, I wouldn't do anything except maybe change the pcv valves.- DaytonaRS7

Control Arm bushing repair NYC area
I'd have recommended the control arms from fcpeuro. Lifetime warranty. On "consumables" such as lr4 control arms, if you intend to keep the truck another 50k miles, it'll be worth it.- DaytonaRS7

Oil leak?
I had my LR4 parked on a (very) slight incline when i replaced my vacuum pump. No oil spilled out. I don't see why you cant just replace the gasket? that said, I replaced my entire pump. It appears as though his pump is the newer/revised one. longer bolts shouldn't be needed.- DaytonaRS7

if both fronts drop, it could be 1 bad strut and the EAS self leveling as it notices one corner is low, or it could be a bad valve block. Thumping when Reversing after car has been parked overnight
is your parking brake applied overnight? I have a similar situation, but its a click, not a thump.
