Correct Tire Pressure on LR4 running 275/55 R20 BFG AT KO2s

PSI should stay the same as OEM, or whatever PSI you were using before. PSI relates to the vehicle weight, not tire size.

    As Predicted. (Defender news)

...starting at 90k for the 4dr? by the time a few options are in there, you'll be over 100k. This will cost more than anyone will want to take off road.

2011 LR4 front air strut replacement

that works. but be very careful how much you thread in the fitting before you insert the airline. id be concerned with threading it in too much, compressing the sleeve, then the airline wouldn't fit.

2011 LR4 front air strut replacement

no. the fitting is similar to a copper compression fitting. there is a small sleeve that goes in over the airline, inside the fitting. as you tighten the fitting, it compresses the sleeve around the airline and holds it in place. no way to pull the airline out without removal of the entire...

2011 LR4 front air strut replacement

Thread and tighten the air line, while the strut is held up using wood blocks under it...no stress on the air line. I left about 2" of space between the top of the shock and the top mount. this gave me enough room to pull on, contort and tighten the air line. 12mm wrench. the airline is held in...

    radio/bluetooth audio cuts out

closest scenario ive had is all sources produce no sound at normal volume, and static if turned up high. display works as it should. solution: turn car off, let sit for 30 seconds, restart. this has happened 3x in my 1 year of ownership. whatever the actual fix is, doesn't warrant my time of...

2011 LR4 front air strut replacement

correct. i just did this on my lr4 last weekend. I didn't even bother the other way. 1 min to pull the heat shield, 1 min to remove the nut. couldn't imagine reaching it through the wheel well to get that nut. the angle of the top hat, wheel well liner, and location of the air line would make...

MAF sensor and O2 sensor bad?

id agree. vaccum leak and most likely faulty MAF. your idle conditions are the only thing thats alarming. under load and coasting, the fuel trims seems to be behaving correctly.

MAF sensor and O2 sensor bad?

this is somthign that's bothered me and I cant figure out any reason for. the fact that there are 2 MAF sensors that lead into 1 throttle body. whats the point? they should have put 1 MAF sensor directly in front of the throttle body. whether air comes from each side equal or not, all that...

MAF sensor and O2 sensor bad?

my recommendation for the bg44k was due to your fuel trims. since you replaced injectors, id say its not necessary. but...it cant hurt. its actually part of the annual maintenance schedule. maybe itll clean other parts of the fuel system?

2011 LR4 front air strut replacement

Yes. Remove rubber heat sheild and you have a straight shot at the inner strut nut from above. Use a 12" extension. No need to remove battery box or anything else.

Battery Management System & power discharge leak

possible you have a faulty battery? when you say it doesn't maintain a full charge..whats your voltages? off: running: while starting: FYI, this recently happened to me. same exact scenario except I wasnt at a beach. I replaced alternator only and jumped the battery to get ti started again. I...

    Onboard Spare parts when off-roading/overlanding

my MY11 as the 22mm bolt to lower/raise. Must have been a change in MY12 or 13 to the winch system. just googled the "new" version. that does suck, how do they expect you to get any leverage when hooking though the pin?

    Onboard Spare parts when off-roading/overlanding

^^ wtf? lol. talk about being prepared for anything. I like your style, and dedication.
  15. D

MAF sensor and O2 sensor bad?

there is something very wrong. do you have any CEL? id be surprised that the MAF reading and o2 readings arent throwing codes. Assuming your bank 2 MAF sensor is faulty (reading too much airflow), it is affecting your bank 2 o2 sensor readings (too high oxygen) which is then going to most...

    Onboard Spare parts when off-roading/overlanding

no overlanding here.... but i carry a brake switch, assorted fuses, socket set, wrenches, screwdriver. I also have jumper cables, that I may replace soon with a jump pack. Im honestly not even sure why i carry the tools. without replacement parts, what am i using them to do? lol. but i guess its...

Is this normal for an AMK compressor?

maybe completely unrelated, but i am in the process of buying a volvo (with air suspension) for the wife. reading up common problems, a knocking air compressor when cold (freezing and below) is a common complaint. Problem: moisture in the lines. Ironically, people on volvo forums question why...

2016 Steering wheel clunk from road imperfections

somehow the lr4 manages to transmit sounds to areas you'd least expect. completely unrelated to your issue, but proving the above statement. 1. I replaced my rear swaybar end links. about 3 weeks after replacement i heard a rattle from the rear and a clunk in the front. either i didn't tighten...

    2015LR4: Best H8 (Group 49) AGM Battery

that warranty intrigued me to look. H7 battery is energizer part number EA95-L5. I am not sure what car uses a H8, so i cant find that part number. anyway, google does not lead me to any US suppliers of energizer auto batteries.sad. that, almost lifetime, warranty would be amazing.

    What oil are you using?

MITYVAC 7201 i use it across my LR4, audi and MB. comes with multiple tubes, with rubber ends, and ive never had an issue of it fitting any of these cars. rubber is soft enough to fit over, yet hard enough to form a good seal.

2014 pre-wired for ACC? (Anyone remove their bumper)

being my first land rover, ill roll over on this one and admit defeat without trying to fight my case. i should have thought ahead and figured that Land Rover would be unique in the electronics department. lol carry on.

2014 pre-wired for ACC? (Anyone remove their bumper)

im not sure it works like that. the fuse box will have an slot for ACC regardless of the option being installed. If the option was installed at the factory, a fuse will be in place. if the option was not installed at the factory, they will not put a fuse in that location. ive never come across...

    Wheel speed sensors

just realized this relates back to your old thread. in the future, maybe try posting in the same thread so that people know the history of the problem. https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/my-dash-lit-up-like-a-christmas-tree-after-driving-in-snow.42518/page-3 anyway, since this maybe...
