Fuel hatch never locks in NAS LR4?
Hi there, Im a happy owner of 13MY LR4 Lux for NAS market and I found that the fuel hatch never locks, is it ok for US or was it broken? My friend have same problem with his 14MY LR (NAS market too). I ask because, my old Discovery 3 08MY has it and I think in EU market all cars has locking hatch. -

One more Ipanema Sand 2013 LR4 HSE Lux from Estonia Actually it's a first LR4 from US (bought on Copart with clean title and transferred to EU) with petrol Engine in my small country. Also all LR4 in Europe called as Discovery 4 so mine is truly LR4 badge :) -

Identify this engine noise
Just checked chain movement and its looks good but need to repeat it several times with different chain position. Maybe its really exhaust leak as Stuart Barnes and jlglr4 said, needed to check it. -

Injectors noise listen from right (passenger) side and its very fast but from left (driver) side you can listen slowly tic-tic-tic – that's sounds like chain I think. Also I got good tip to check chain – need to press chain under oil cup and it must be tight and not have free movement on cold... -

My LR4 with 139k mi (~224k km) just after oil service,sounds almost the same. Recorded after 2-3 mins after cold start at temperature 0°C (32°F): In local service said its normal working sound but I ask some owners who change chain and they said that its not good (but not so bad) chain noise... -

Yeah but only digital)) not under arrow. As I know instrument cluster should be marked in km/h. I already have diesel instrument cluster and soon try replace arrow background. Thanks! -

I just ordered Carfax report, thanks for tip, so here's "Loan or lien reported" maybe that reason for auction, anyway last service was 08/06/2021 and 10/16/2021 marked as Auto Auction (10/21/2021 I bought it). I know about chains, current mileage is 139k maybe need replace soon but local service... -

Thanks jlglr4 I found sales records and photos on some free sources but not service records. Never used Carfax and Autocheck, maybe I should try it :) anyway only one owner from 2015, its sounds good but idk reason why car was selling in copart auction. It run and drive and in good condition... -

Why not? I said I have no choice in Europe that reason why I bought LR4. I just interest in possibility check history that why I ask here. I understand if it's not possible but you answer really not helpful here. -

Hello from Europe))) I just received my "new" 2013 LR4 Lux with 139k mi purchased on Copart (happy it's not salvage title! Of cource has some scrathes but price is amaizing compared with EU) Unfortunately there in EU no gasoline LR4 with v8 or v6, almost all is diesel exclude RR with v8 SC)...
