Yes, greiswig is right - NO RUBBING should be acceptable when it's avoidable. The simple way to avoid ANY problems is to fit 265/60 X 18's and not fit a 1/2" bigger sidewall for very minor benefit. G'day adclark, Don't mess with modifying your already brilliant vehicle. It seems you don't need the ultimate offroad setup. Don't bother with spacers, rods etc - you don't need to. G'day again navigare, I've just looked carefully at my Kaymar rear bar & it's a much closer & even fit than the white Disco in the first photo. 2020 defender off road pack - rear locker
The 300Tdi is the best motor in an older Defender. I had that same motor in a 1995 Discovery 1 that I bought new & kept for 20 years. Black Friday rim discounts/info! Did some research today...
On checking the Evo Corse website I see that their D4 wheel has a different offset to the Compomotives. I don't know the implications with that - possible rubbing?? I've never seen a D4 with EVO 18"'s here in Oz. My Compo's with 265/60X18 have no rubbing issues.- RobRover88
