They do fold flat, but not by "default". After they are lowered down at the preset (a bit of an incline is still present), you can press and hold the "fold" button one more time, and the backrest will flatten another inch or two against the cushion to make a flat surface with the trunk floor and...- umbertob

Yup, the rear end is the most "unflattering" part of the new car's new body. I wonder why they even bothered with the funky looking off-center license plate, it makes it look weird but still kinda boring and minivan-like. They'll have to fix that in a future refresh, for sure.- umbertob

You guys crack me up! 12 months or 16K miles oil change interval is the same for all current "big" Land Rovers (including 2016 LR4, RRS, RR), no? I think it went up from the "old" 15K interval in 2015 or 2016. I am heading over to the L.A. Auto Show some time this weekend to check out the new...- umbertob

For those of us that miss the Pirelli ATR, check out this new tire...
Nice find. They are XL rated, come with a good prorated warranty of 6y-60k miles and have a V speed rating, too. Good match for the LR4, at least on paper. -

No, the frequency is not user / dealer selectable, it's baked in the hardware. You'll have to replace the sensors inside the 2016 rims with the ones from your old wheels. -

I am thinking that, if the calipers need just a close shave like Lucky8 seems to imply in that Facebook video, why the need for a chunky, 1.25" spacer to clear them? It's got to be more than a little shave, but we will see. The LR3/4 wheel bearings / hubs are troublesome enough without spacers. -

I don't know about a dealer, but the IIDTool could only reset it the last time I used it, not turn it off permanently. They may eventually address that with a firmware update, not sure though. I reset it at each oil change, so I haven't seen that reminder, like, ever. :) -
