    Factory required annual service?

Are they still offering that? I thought they took that freebie away as well a year or two ago, but I guess it depends on your model year? Regardless, the first "annual service" is a glorified oil change and a chance for the dealer to upcharge you on brake pads and rotors - should you be getting...

    LR5 Release Updates?

Meanwhile, the aftermarket has identified the ugliest part of the new Discovery (the rear end) and is coming up with fixes. Here is one that looks promising, although it will probably cost a bundle to retrofit:

    LR5 Release Updates?

Back in 2009, early test mules of the then-unreleased Range Rover Evoque looked like out-of-proportion, chopped off Freelanders. Here is one such test mule example I found online: Of course, the end result turned out to be quite different. So, there's hope we are just looking at a very early...

2016 LR4 ran out of gas, how to clear CEL?

Last night is too soon. Give it another day, it should extinguish on its own.

    Fuel display/consumption/warning low fuel light

Fill her up when the low fuel light comes on, don't question Land Rover's infinite wisdom and just do it. :) When I first got my LR4 in 2013, I would ***** that the low fuel light was way too conservative and would turn on when I still had 5-6 gallons of fuel in the tank, so much so that I...

    2010 vs. 2015 LR4

Unlike the 2010, you don't need to bring your 2015 to the dealer to update your satnav maps anymore. Buy the USB stick online and do it yourself. Having said that, the navigation and infotainment system of the LR4 is hopelessly antiquated, and the updates won't help beyond the obvious map and...

2010 LR4 HSE Lux - No satellite radio?

Do you get HD radio or just "regular" radio when tuned to a popular local AM or FM station with good reception? I don't know the interface of a 2010-2011s too well, but on 2012s+ the HD logo pops up prominently on the touchscreen (and you can hear the big difference in sound quality) when HD...

    2-Speed Transfer Case 2016 LR4

Yes indeed, the 2014s+ were single speed unless fitted with the optional HD package (which also included electronic rear lockers, a full size spare and "expanded" Terrain Response with rock crawl mode.)

    Brake Pads

Is your 2012 RRS a 5-liter Supercharged? If it's a normally aspirated model, as far as I know front (and rear) brake pads are the same as the LR4's.

LR4 Front lower in morning. I’m new.

It could also be that the car didn't have a chance to level the night before, as you pulled in the garage and turned off the engine. Tonight, after parking and before shutting off, lower the suspensions to access height and then raise them again to normal height. The EAS compressor will run for...

How to scroll through FM radio stations?

It's in TFM. With the steering wheel seek up / down buttons, a short press scrolls through your radio presets, a long press seeks the frequency to the next available radio station.

    New guy checking in...

Try this: https://app.box.com/s/r4fyn6o8bbhtfpao7s6k0zp05g5ztmmn But I don't believe SDARS was always integrated on the 2011 LR4, even in LUX trim. I know that the satellite and HD radio receiver was a standalone option on my 2013 LUX. If it doesn't show as a line item in your VIN's specific...

    Front end lower than backend

1" or so sounds about right. The standard measurements for the LR4 - from lower wheel arch to center of the wheel (this is from my IIDTool manual, and it's the numbers you use as a baseline when re-calibrating suspensions height) should be 466 mm front and 485 mm rear, which translates to about...

Looking for a TSB on fuel injector replacement

Nothing in my "collection" of TSBs addressing that particular DTC - but I haven't looked on TopiX in a while. This is the closest document I could find addressing fuel injectors replacement, which Land Rover asks to replace individually depending on DTC (stored codes should identify the...

Question re: 2010 LR4 central junction box replacement

I don't see why not. The fuse boxes behind the lower glove box have basically remained the same for every model year LR4 (and Sport), and I don't believe programming is necessary for a box that only houses a bunch of fuses and relays.

    Voltage display?

Unless I hook up my IIDTool first (the tool "leaves" the voltage displaying in the TFT display after you exit the menu), I can't get that value to permanently be displayed in the instrument cluster. 2013 here.

    Mirror Reverse Dip stopped working...

Can't you just disable Lazy Entry from the Settings menu? It was possible to disable it on my 2006 RRS, but not sure about the 08 Range Rover. Alternatively, have you tried moving the seat / mirrors / steering wheel to your liking (when using the Andre the Giant fob) and doing a memory save? In...
