Your gasket is fine since you saw nothing when you took of the engine oil fill cap and if coolant was getting into your tranny you would have definately started having tranny issues. I believe your coolant leak is somewhere along the pipes that go into the heater core.
Also you need to confirm...
Is gas mileage an issue for you ? The 2010 -2013 LR4's are a little bit thirsty on gas. If you will be doing a lot of city miles around NY, I will recommend to get the 2014 upwards.
usually when i have this kinda issue i just move the tires around, so I move the front tires to the back and vice versa and see if the vibration on your steering wheel stops/changes/reduces. If it does then you know the culprit is one of the 2 tires you just moved to the back.
I had the save problem too on their website but i called them up and ordered over the phone. The front brake kit (Rotors & pads) came up to about $150.
Try Max brakes, been using them for over 2 years with no issues at all, very minimal brake dust (my wheels stay clean for at least 2 weeks) and absolutely no squeal, Price is also unbelievable. Order on their website and you receive it via UPS in 2 days max. The have both Ceramic and Metallic...

It looks like a do-able 2 hr project. The instructions are pretty clear and the part prices are very reasonable. Just get the o-ring and tube like the guy said and you dont need any special tools. If you decide to do it please take pictures.
Yes i changed the bushings only which was a lot cheaper than changing the entire lower control arm. I spent 200CAD on the bushings instead 650CAD on control arms. Check out this video from Atlantic British.
Got the bushing from here : http://germanparts.ca/
Just changed my lower control arm bushings, The bolts were completely rusted against the bushings, had to cut them off. Make sure you buy both the bushings and the bolts.
I currently have 174,000km which is about 110,000 miles. I bought when it was 168000km. So far i've done lower control arm bushings, tranny drain & fill which i just did yesterday, Oil and filter change, front rotors & pads , cleaned the trottle body and cleaned both mass flow sensors cause it...
I did my tranny fluid change today, I did a simple drain and refill. 4.25 quarts out 4.25 back in. The most difficult part was trying to put back the fill plug while docking the hot catalytic converter at the same time. By the time i was done i was soaked in tranny fluid, even my lips felt like...

Hello guys, I'm a newbie and was wondering if anyone has used the febi bilstein tranny fluid. I plan to do mine this coming weekend but no part store around me seems to have the ZF lifeguard fluid but the febi is available. Is it safe to use the febi ? Has anyone had any issues with it?
