A tranny flush is always a bad idea although some folks will disagree. A drain and fill will be your best bet and make sure to follow the refill procedure.
My LCA bolts on both sides where completely seized. I had to cut them off and buy new bolts. So before you start, try to turn the bolts first and see if they move. Also get a spray paint can any color and spray around the bolts and washer so you know exactly where to place the washers while...
Maxbrakes was just a recommendation for cheap rear rotors as suppose to using the old ones that already has a lip on them. I swear by maxbrakes because i currently have them on my LR both front and rear with Zero issues, and i have them on my other cars and my experience using them has been 4...
For peace of mind i would advice to install new pads and rotors at the same time. Order maxbrakes, they're cheap and good, been using them for about 4yrs. I currently have them on my LR with 0 issues.

you have to call and order, it takes about 2 weeks.
Ooouch...I would source for used parts and do the job myself, the dealer would be the last ting on my mind. Search junkyards and ebay for used parts. if i'm not mistaken i bet the suspension parts on the LR3 and LR4 are the same, so you could source for either LR3 or LR4 used parts.
I agree 100% with Quijote and to add to what he said, you shouldn't drive the car until you find the source of the leak and fixed. If its a damaged brake line or leaking nipple it could pop at anytime.
Arnotts has the complete shock and spring assembly for the LR so it is best you change the complete assembly for both left and right. A buddy of mine has a GL450 mercedes and we were able to change the 2 front air springs only and used the original shocks which were still good. Not sure if the...
I have changed my front brakes 2 times without replacing the sensor, but had to replace the rear sensor cause it broke while i was removing it. So remove the sensor carefully and you can surely reuse them as long as the warning light has never showed on your dash.
The dealer should have it in stock or will be able to order it for you which shouldnt take more that 24hrs. Call your nearest dealer. If you're like me that has a box full of nuts and bolts you might be able to find one that will fit in there temporarily till u get a replacement from the dealer.
I do this all the time even when there are available parking spots without a big pile of snow, i never go offroading so thats the only chance i get to enjoy the capabilities of the LR. i dont shovel my driveway neither i just clear my walk path to the car and the side walk. At several parking...
Before you change that vacuum pump, tighten the bolts a little bit and clean around it with brake cleaner. After driving for a few days check to see if the leak has stopped. i have had plenty of success over the years by just slightly tightening parts that are leaking.
Where did you get the parts from , bridge gasket, Sleeves/Seal and most especially the solenoids ? I'm thinking of doing this service sometime during the summer.
Get a scanner and pull the codes, without knowing the codes its almost like shooting in the dark...12v to 12.6v volts is normal when the engine is off, or should i say a fully charged battery will read within that range. Not sure what you googled that said the battery is 50-75% charged. if your...
I did my plugs already and it took me about 6 or more hours, the last 2 on each size were very difficult to get to, you will need several extentions and a flexible ratchet to do the job. I did them at 180,000Km and the old ones i took out looked decent. I did not know 6C10 was the OEM but...
I first used them on a 2001 Mercedes E320 sometime late 2015 (all 4 pads and rotors) and i did 45,000km on them till the cylinder of the car blew in feb 2018. I then bought a mazda 3 that same febuary to replace the mercedes and installed maxbrakes again on all 4 corners of the mazda, i have...
