washer fluid - Doesn't work in the cold? Feature or Error?
I am assuming my washer fluid not functioning if the temperature is below 20deg C is a byproduct of crappy design more than a 'feature'. Has anyone else experienced this issue? -

Windshield Crack on 2016 LR4
Mine was cracked within 20 miles of purchasing it. Bad luck. I'm waiting until after this winter to replace it. I had safelight try to fix the star, but they made the crack about 6x worse. Which of course is a risk of chip/star repair. -

haha this thread is like the kiss of death. My 2016 purchased in February just stopped executing the start/stop as well. So i'm guessing it is the secondary battery. Off to the shop. -

I Just noticed a nice annoying medium tone originating (where i believe) from my driver side rear when I start driving. Its definitely happening when no brakes are being applied in any manner. It seems like my parking brake isn't fully releasing or something? Has anyone else experienced this... -

Those look like they are very high quality! I like that they are Thule and Yakima compatible as well. I don't like the look, but id bet they are some of the finest built racks in this category. -

I don't feel the extra length is worth the premium, and I'd like the sunroof to be un obstructed as well (silly i know) . I'm glad you have had a good experience with them though. I'll probably be ordering one in the next few weeks, along with a ladder and a double jerry can system. -

Within 10 minutes of being at any LR dealership they will tell you they will not negotiate off of MSRP. You get what is listed on the sticker period. However, they do give you a hat and tumbler coffee cup. -

Cracked windscreen
how bad is the crack? I had a chip that during repair cracked about an inch or so. I let them finish the repair and plan on having the windshield replaced after the winter. The heated windshield was quoted about $1100. I only notice the crack when the sun hits it just right. -

Use a brake controller absolutely, but never use the manual lever to straighten a sway. It will counteract the cars stability control system for stopping the trailer sway. -

I Finally got answers to all my towing questions. LR really needs to get their messaging clear. I would agree with that. Answers: I got 800 on the hitch from LR coprporate. Stability Assist is active and on all models. Never use manual brake controller lever, Never use weight distribution... -

Snow tires on 19's
I can confirm, stock 19" tires are horrible in the snow on this car. Colorado native, purchased new Lr4 early in the year in time for the 4' snow and it was abysmal. Wife's Hyundai was better. -

Gmosely, I just set up mine again with my new radar stickers. The box is off center and that is perfectly OK. Once it goes green on the sticker it is easer to set the width of the trailer. I get the hitch line and red dot (like I did before) but it won't zoom. So i probably have a software... -

This is basically where I was going to place mine. The 2016 LR4 has a light right in that location. The harness is super easy to get to and the BC harness reaches it without issue. The plastic in that location is really flimsy on the LR4. Apparently this must be a tad different than the LR3 is... -

I was wondering if someone could post a picture of exactly where LR mounted your Brake Controller? I am trying to pick the best spot above/ near the foot rest by the brake peddle arm. I have an light that will be blocked somewhat if I use the location that seems obvious. Thanks -

Suggestions On How To Sell My LR4 (Sad Day)
One other thing on the LC. Toyota is now only offering the 5.7 in flex fuel configuration in many states (including CO). So instead of 10-15k oil changes you have to do them every 5k. Also, the MPG drops from the historical 16-21 to a solid 12/14.3-15 mpg. It sucks even for a truck. Ask if this... -
