Any good euro auto shop can handle 99% of the LR4 needs. I wouldn't limit yourself. -
Blown head gasket
Used 5.0 engines start at $7K right now and go up. I'd want to tear down any "used" engine and redo the HG, etc. Pulling the engine on the LR means lifting the body off frame unless you want to work really hard and that by itself is a 6-8hr process. -

Coolant fountain...
Pulling my LR4 out of the garage to head to the beach after driving a bunch in traffic this morning. See a puddle on the garage floor, go to investigate, determine it was coolant (soapy feel), truck is running, kids inside, hot as hell. Pop the hood and see coolant bubbling out of the upper... -
Another Defender hint?
This brings up an interesting thought. Putting the shifter on dash would force more to have two hands on the wheel, in a correct driving position. Whether on road or off. Just a thought. -

I actually like the dash I've seen. Reserving judgement on the exterior. We all knew it was no longer shaped like a bread box... Just f'ing show us the goods already... this build-up is ridiculous. -

Best windshield replacement option?
I had safelite do a 3rd party windshield on my LR3 last year and while it is heated, it has a weird visual effect in the lower center section that I can't explain. Like the glass is warped. Recently my LR4 developed a crack and State Farm paid in full for the OEM windshield. I would push for OEM. -

Clearly, for the combined cost, you might as well buy a new bumper. -

I sold a damaged bumper, with hardware for around that amount. The hardware for mounting is considerable and the crush cans would be a pain to replicate. It would also be worth asking ARB if that "kit" includes the skid plates or not. It all comes bundled together. -

Button is the "P" button that lights up on the dash. IID tool does allow you to disable it permanently. I did so on mine due to my tire carrier. -

You know, if they had the marketing positioning right, they'd have an AT tire like a KO2 on it. Those wheels/tires are shameful. -
