That is funny, my service guy mentioned this to me a few weeks ago. He said that people overseas have been buying them and shipping them out. So now you get put on some list and if they discover the truck is shipped out, then you are blacklisted by land rover corporate. -

I share your pain, I've been looking for used models under 30K miles for my wife and barely find anything. My local dealer has nothing but LR2's on their lot, they have sold their entire allotment for the next 6 months on everything else. Unbelievable. -

I just cut and rewelded the tire carrier arm. It is easy. The rest is sandblaster (not me) and powder coat (definitely not me). I'll post up some pics of the arm once it comes back. Hmm, must be different on the '13. I don't have a screen for the front, just the beeps. You could experiment with the wiring. Assuming each sensor is a two wire, cut one and see if either you get a fault or it beeps. Then reconnect if needed with an aftermarket plug(trailer wire), solder the... -

Bummer, that is annoying. I would advocate drilling the holes for the two inside parking sensors. A simple punch and unibit with a Q-tip and some paint is all you need to make it clean. You will only regret not having it in case a wife/gf or valet parks your truck by braille. -

Good question. Sure, I would love more room, you always could carry more food and drink. But I like that I can close the cargo cover in the rear with the fridge in when driving around town. And I can fit more gear in my d-90 without a larger fridge in the way. I would be curious is anyone... -

I wouldn't consider this a show stopper and you live in a much drier climate than me ;-). Just one of those minor annoyances. I just sent the re-welded tire carrier (moved tire position over to show rear lights) to the sand blaster and powder coater. Will update once it comes back. -

ARB/Engel Fridge - Who's Got One??
It is only an issue if you expect your fridge to run when the truck is off. For that, you are best to rewire it. I have two fridges, a newer ARB and an older Engel. The Engel is pushing 10 years without a single issue. Both are equally great. -

The liquid filled gauges that power tank sells have always worked well for me. They are a little slower to readout (wait for the needle to reach the actual level), but they have taken serious abuse and haven't failed. -
