T44 rock sliders - Test fitting (long post)

Thanks, are those the topside sill mounts or the bottom side? I ask because I have a couple of "frozen" bolts and it will determine how I choose to free them.

T44 rock sliders - Test fitting (long post)

Besides the two body mounts, what are the other "6" mounting points? Just curious. The TF aluminum ones use both side and top of sill points. I'm pulling them off and going T44.

    2015 lr4 nas

Thanks, interesting they are making the side steps standard. This may sound funny but my wife's main criteria for a car is a wood steering wheel. Her Volvo had it, now her Acura. I may use that to sell her on a '15 to get another before they are gone.

LR4 Tow Assist - does it exist?

Another reason to buy the IID tool.

    IIDTool for LR4 - When???

You need to call Lucky 8. Their site is terrible.

    ARB/Engel Fridge - Who's Got One??

The only legit argument for warranty voiding is if you burned out the wire harness that was inline.

    Showoff Your LR4

I recently shut it off as well with the GAP tool. Too annoying to deal with and I found that when I swapped to my off road tires/rim combo, it would take up to a day or two for the TPMS system to throw a fault. Seemed a little late for what I would expect.

    Offroad suspension emergency toolkit

Looking for any consensus on what folks have run into off road as far as airbag or suspension failures and whether anyone has pieced together their own kit or go-to parts for having an on-trail emergency. Whether it be a line failure, bag failure, whatever. Has anyone tested uprated bump stops...

The LR4 is the bees knees

Then I think your next trip needs to be to drive Black Bear into Telluride. That trail makes my butt cheeks clinch and I've been down it a few times.

occasional "grabbing" feel when applying brakes going downhill

Is the grabbing happening on it's own or are you depressing the brakes and then experiencing subsequent grabbing?

    2, 4 or 6 Ton Bottle Jack

I always go for the most capacity and lift range. I'd say 4 ton. With a 2 ton, if you have a heavily prepared truck (or eventually will), you'll be putting it right at the limit by the time it is loaded with fuel, gear, etc.

I haven't had an issue doing this either. Actually going to waxoyl the chassis this fall.

    Kaymar Bumper Question

Thanks! I may have to go down a size though. Finding the tires off road while unstoppable, are causing too much rub when stuffed fully.

    Explorer Sport has arrived

I can't figure out who buys the LR2. Maybe the dealers heavily discount it, but in the $40K range, it seems way overpriced for what you get.

Tough crowd. I still think the benefits outweigh the design disfunction. I'm pursuing it.

    Paddle shifters

I would love to add them on my '12. It would make off road downshifts so much easier without pulling away from the wheel. Same when towing. I know some of the guys on disco 3 that posted on have done so. I can see the paddle shift entry on the CCF when using GAP. Big question is whether the...
