This is the only pic I have at the moment but can take more when I get home. Cutting it like this will get the tightest fit...I could've trimmed more to make installation/removal easier... But this is the minimum.

I used 1/2" bolts so used a 1/2" bit, but it may be wise to go smaller first to get that weld out...I didn't though. Be sure you have a steady hand, the drill is going to want to pull to the right and that poses a risk of widening the hole. It worked out perfectly for me but I was worried that...

Once I drilled all 8 out, I sanded everything down and applied a few coats of POR15 on it prior to mounting the winch plate. Figured might as well to give it max protection...and @avslash , that will be the easiest part of this..finding grade 8 washers that fit behind there was tough for me...

Good luck with the the grade 8 hardware! I think that should be standard when installing. It's definitely a little bit of a PITA getting to the lock nuts, but it's doable and worth it. I was able to snuggly fit the neoprene cover over my 12k. Also, you'll have to trim up your grill a bit to...

Alternative to Dealer Only Castrol Professional "E" for 2014-16 LR4's

not sure the fuel efficiency reason is the whole reason they switched to 0 weight...I will ask my buddy who is a master tech at the dealership next time I see him but I believe it's because they found the heavier weight wasn't reaching certain, tighter areas of the engine...maybe because of the...

    Showoff Your LR4

Ahhh, looked at the pic, you just have the mount. Yeah, maybe a quick adjustment will do the trick. If you had the T44 rear bumper you'd be SOL

    Showoff Your LR4

Is it the blind spot monitoring sensors? It's not broke, it just won't work with the T44 bumper. The blind spot monitoring system runs off a radar sensor which is located below the rear light which is now covered by a piece of steel which is the bumper. It will work sporadically...maybe...but...

    Tactical 4x4 rear bumper questions

@mbw @avslash Speaking of T44 gear. Did you notice any vibration sounds from your transmission skid plate after it was mounted? It only happens when car is at a slow crawl or at certain idle points, like when turning... will have to wait for someone to help to pin point where it's touching...

    Terrain Response and HP/Torque impact

Went shopping with a friend for a 2010-2013 RRS recently and found out some interesting information. He was torn between the NAV8 and SCV8. I spoke to a good friend of mine who is a tech of 20+ years at LR and when asked which one is better off-road he stated the SCV8 and NAV8 RRS are...

@ryanjl though I don't think the T44 has been crash tested in an official controlled environment, Eric at T44 hit a stopped vehicle during a sand storm going 25mph. Here's a pic.

Yes, the two peice design on the T44 was a factor for me as well since I am pretty big on removing and maintaining all the equipment on my rig. So ease of removal was important...and it's super easy since you can unbolt and it just sits nicely on the winch tray.

@mbw do you notice that your passenger side is slightly lower than the drivers side? I've noticed this on mine as well as others that I have seen mounted.

@d3lux06 / @DirtyHal if you have any questions regarding the videos I posted on Instagram just message me and I'll be more than happy to help if I can. I upgraded the hardware to grade 8, so my install was a little more involved.
