    I would run a can of spray seafoam through the throttle intake before I would do anything else. In our first 2013 that alone cleared up lots of minor issues and increased power and fuel economy. Put a can of the liquid stuff in the tank. These direct injectors are notorious for gunking up.

    Out of CPO in August, figures! Have appt with independent LR guy in early Jan. Pray for us. It really does NOT sound like a rod to me and there is no affect on performance. It sounds like a bad bearing in the top end back by the firewall that increases in bad soundingness with rpm.
