...problem is, I need to get to it when the truck is loaded up for fun. And to pop the seats, you pretty much need to unload the back. I do keep my center headrest down there which I popped out as soon as I got the car! :) -

This is just a guess, but I wonder if your door is not closed snug. There must be an adjustment on the latch for how tightly closed it holds the door and maybe your door is just "loose" enough that it squeaks. To check this theory, have someone pull in on the fixed door handle when the squeak... -

I had erratic behavior like that on my LR3, but it was just one of the motors. The seat would recline fine, but had an intermittent "incline" function to bring it back. So, sometimes I'd get stuck reclined... mechanic diagnosed it as a bad motor. Wasn't too expensive, but it wasn't annoying... -

"hunting" setting? I know I can hit the center light button to turn them off, but I think that gets cleared once I open another door. I didn't know that's what this did. I have a separate check box for mirror dipping. lazy entry I never played with... -

I was thinking of the same thing. But based on the D5... I'm sure what you're looking at is it. Be nice to see in real life to get a better feel for the size and outfitting. Thanks, umberbob. I did not know the rear dip position was programmable. I just thought it was an on/off thing. Reading your description, I suspect I pushed another seat memory button at some point. I'll try that... and then hopefully reprogram the dip where I want it! -

My LR3 always did that and my LR4 does as well. It periodically makes this adjustment, but seems to always do a check when you're getting ready to go. -
Keeping Audio on without Engine running
You're right. It's unfortunate, though. The car battery has enough juice to easily run the radio for hours... but the LR has so much other crap on in the background. Would be nice if they could isolate that one accessory so it could stay on. -

So, sure enough, this cowling thing I didn't even know aided in keeping water out of the car is buckled out quiet a bit in the center and a little on each end. Is this (pic below) likely my issue? Is this a known design issue or due to a shoddy windshield replacement? Haven't looked near... -

Can you describe the green tint? I don't notice it. Is this something I can see or is it documented? I have the FUYAO glass shown below. My rain sensor is very poor at detecting rain. I'm thinking this is what you were talking about... -

That's good to know. Thanks! I wonder if it would stop my 2013 from letting me drive away without a smart key! :stupido2: (If I unlock my car with the key fob button, I can then drive away whenever I want. Key still hanging in the garage...) -

I believe you only get the hitch receiver storage mount/strap if the vehicle came factory equipped with the tow kit. Otherwise, no convenient place to put that big chunk of metal without it breaking something. :( -
Short Rails - Install - Fit/Rattling?
That's odd. Maybe run a tap through those and clean up the threads. Something must not be going down all the way.
