    Think these will fit?

Has anyone else put 17’s on an LR4?

    Think these will fit?

Yeah I’m just trolling, I have the parts and will post a write up next week. I’m also mounting the tires myself so that should be an adventure!

I just picked these up for my 2012 LR4, think they’ll fit?

    Mirrors and Memory

Ah thanks, good to know it’s “normal”. I work with software engineers and the sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t sort of defects are the hardest to duplicate and fix. Maybe they ran into some of those in development and just decided to let them go to production. Good times!

    Mirrors and Memory

Hello Pals, Every once in a while the seat memory on y 2012 doesn't recall the memory setting unless I hold down the button. Anyone experienced this or know how to fix? Also, My wife just told me that she got in the truck and the power folding mirrors did not un-fold. She had to press L & R...

    2013 LR4 - Weird Humming Noise

Just finished installing the damper. It took about 20 minutes. Here is the untapped hole. TSB says it’s tapped… it’s not! This looks to be the right size: Wait, I can’t turn it… How about a drill? I tapped that hole like it’s never been tapped before. Mmmm shiny threads. Done...

    Did I break something?

With some wiggling around something came unbound and I was able to get it all bolted up. Called around for an alignment and some shops wanted to charge 50% extra because this was a Land Rover. Basterds. I took it to Firestone and they did it in an hour for $90.

    2013 LR4 - Weird Humming Noise

Just placed the order. They price matched the Merrimam price with shipping which saved about $20.

    2013 LR4 - Weird Humming Noise

I just checked, that seems like a good price especially because I haven't found it anywhere else online. If LR North Scottsdale doesn't work out I'll do that. Thanks!

    2013 LR4 - Weird Humming Noise

I have not, I'm working right down the street from them, maybe I'll pop in to the parts dept. at lunch.

    2013 LR4 - Weird Humming Noise

Hey did you ever install the damper? I’m having this same problem and I can’t even find the parts. Where did you pick up the parts? Thanks! Ricky

    Did I break something?

Oops, I did the other one free hanging. What should I do about that? What will go wrong?

    Did I break something?

Oh, should I attach the strut before I jack it up?

    Did I break something?

Thanks for the replies, I’ll try the wood block trick. I’ve got a jack stand in each side and the floor jack under the front jack point.

    Did I break something?

Hi guys. I’m in the middle of replacing my control arm bushings and I can’t get the things to line back up to the frame. The only thing I can think of is maybe the axle got pulled out somehow. Is that possible? The CV boot looks really extended. Wife is already mad about how much time I spend on...

    2.6k vibration

Yeah I would just wait until they have the new part available “this spring” and have it done then, in my case it made sense to pay for the fix since it was a safety issue. Good luck with that dealer!

    2.6k vibration

I just read-read your statement. There was no collateral damage when they replaced my flange but if something did break it probably needed to be replaced soon anyway. I would not expect the cost of some bolts, fuel line, or even a new fuel pump to deter you from getting the issue fixed. In my...

    2.6k vibration

I would call LR USA and get confirmation from them that your VIN falls under the recall and then work with a local LR service center to carry out the work. I don’t know if you got the recall letter but it is a two step recall. Step 1: They will replace the failing part with a new but defective...

    2.6k vibration

Good thing I’ve got a set of taps. Now I just need to rationalize the cost of it. I’ve never heard of a dealer doing something for free unless it was a recall Stuart. I even had to pay $1200 for the current fuel flange “recall”.

    2.6k vibration

Yep that’s it! Just confirmed using command shift. Now I just need to find those parts. Thanks so much!

    2.6k vibration

Hey pals, I have a high frequency vibration in my 2012 V8 between 2.6 and 3k R’sPM. It feels kinda “wound up” in that range, I don’t know how else to describe it. I have not driven another 5.0 rover so I don’t know if this is normal or signaling a problem. The truck has 135,000 miles on it and...
