My bet is that the painted arches on the LR4 are just simply the same as the LR3. The cracking sound is probably gloss paint on paint friction. Tape them off and take some gray plastidip to them. That should give you the same rough gray look as the LR3 and beats the crap out of pulling and...
The only way I'd be sliding into a '14+ right now (as I have a gem '13) would be if it had Adaptive Cruise and HD. I'm holding out for a '16 with both but odds are it's my '13 until forever.
One further thought - it's low enough miles so that if they did follow the silly 15k mile oil change guidance it isn't too late to get it back on a proper 7500 or less oil change cycle.
There’s been a drop in the past few weeks on LR4s in the secondary market in Chicagoland. That’s a pretty fair price for the mileage. Don’t get hung up on the apps as they have been questionable from what I’ve read and heard here. Water pump is pretty typical repair for many. Many hate the eco...
Feel free to post the experience when you do. I could be convinced to try this but I really loathe being the first one in on something like this that isn't "broken"
Intriguing...yes...worth it? No. It's 3 major versions behind on Android now. It's a full rip and replace of the factory system that has all of the 4x4i controls. Integrates with the CAN system which I wouldn't want to deal with directly.
My experience with Apple Car Play or Android Auto is that it's not worth it. Mount your phone and you have the same thing or more and simple BT fixes the audio part. I would not trade vehicles for infotainment purposes until the standards flush out further.
I had this happen with another vehicle and it was a blocked vent line on the fuel filler neck. If that's blocked the air pressure can't escape with the filler nozzle pushing fuel. Back pressure will shut off the pump and you're stuck.
There are some risky after market systems out there. I say risky because they're high cost and low implementation would probably lead to a more buggy experience than you have today. Overall I wouldn't advise trying to wedge in some sort of upgrade unless it's very well proven. I'd go the...
Xlifter shows that it can auto level and have far more settings than the generic OEM system. It even allows individual adjustments. I'm not aware of any capabilities as such with OEM.
Fun time to resurrect this thread. To the folks waiting on the Bronco I would keep waiting. Ford has totally mucked the rollout of the new Explorer with all sorts of basic electronic issues. I would expect the same on the Bronco.
Interesting. The bolt pattern on the 16 edition looks different than the others. Weird because all the listing show that they’re all the same which may not be true.
Maybe you should just go aftermarket? I don’t mean to be rude with this but what would drive a need for this tech? This is by far the most open vehicle to see around the outside by just looking around.

No - it's specifically designed to be an easy auto-leveling solution for controlling your air suspension on demand. The GAP tool is a full diagnostics/computer accessible system for diagnostics and programming
Needed a pneumatic hammer to rip the stock ones apart as the bolts snapped or wouldn’t spin free. Huge mess. Replacements fit right on the oem brackets.
I have this to protect mine and I love it.
