I can't explain to you guys how awesome this little setup is and what a massive change to the dash. I changed it around to use bar magnets and basically mounted it to the top plastic edge above the factory screen. It almost looks like it was built in. My only wish is that the iPod port would...
No choice in this region - we have 10% ethanol by rule. I’ve never noticed the difference between 93 and 91 when I have the option to get it while out on the road.
It’s not the final product yet but check out how well an iPad mini fits on the dash and basically adds a whole computer to the car. I’m working on getting the native USB to power it and all the audio comes hardwired. This will get my phone off the dash mount and make for a major upgrade with...
Might want to see this thread: https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/frozen-radio-screen.27188/
I'd say pull the battery connection and wait a few min and then see if it works after reconnecting. I'd also be curious to know what dongle you're speaking of that would integrate with the factory...
This forum has me keeping my eye on my rig and though I haven't gotten a gap tool yet, it's in the works. I wish there was a similar forum for my aging xc90 that would provide as much useful info as I find here
You're probably correct. I started looking up the part number for STP and other brands are using the same number. FRAM, generic, etc. My guess is it's possible they're all the same with different boxes.
Sorry for bringing this back to life again but has anybody used the STP Oil Filter instead of the Mahle? Not trying to cheap out but tired of buying them online and my local store stocks the STP editions.
Pretty sure there’s a thread on this already but search is failing me.
Anybody do the LED replacement across the entire interior? I’m tired of the yellow battery burners and would prefer going to LED for a refresh. Would like to know what you used and if it was worth it.
I found this set...

It worked to hold a rip together for me (dries invisible/clear) but it didn't "seal the gap in the rip". If you can roll it up with this under it'll probably basically disappear...but you'll always know it was there :)
The 3rd row has been invaluable to my crew. I do hate that rubber mat for when I need to pop them up but deal with it as needed. I was thinking of the future the other day as I've been told this is going to be the "family" car in 4 years. I have 3 dogs and the space in the back has been...
I just ordered these for mine as I'm tired of the other aftermarket or OEM options. We're supposed to get some mixed crud here this weekend so I'll report back on how I feel about them after use.
Ahhh...misread...no KO2 for me...looks like some Nokian WR G4 is preferred. I don't want to run seasonal tires in this area. The fall and spring temp swings are far too much for me to go dedicated winter/summer combos.
