There's a video out on YouTube. It's a lifted RRS cluster fitted into a LR4. It's neat but a hack and takes a lot of reprogramming. -

new owner saying hello + third party warrantee
Would love to know the source of that 3rd party warranty. My dealer wouldn't budge on the price for mine (wanted nearly $4500) and mine was a 13 with 25k miles. -

Yeah. I've been getting the terrain and the d5 confused all the time. Chicago is a pretty hefty LR3/4 market and usually I'd expect to see d5's all over but it just hasn't happened. I think for most Volvo beat them to the punch for a 7 seat luxury bean mobile. -

Somehow I doubt this point. I don't see much staying in the box style unless it's a Merc or way outside player. It's possible that the new defender, if it ever shows up, would fit this bill but I would bet that it's focused on ability before fuel economy and luxury. -

I guess it goes back to the point of: Do you buy a car for it to be worth more later or simply enjoy it while you have it? I'm on the side of enjoying it. It's a 4wd beast that makes my former f150 look like a chump. Until something comes along that strikes me as far better or more desirable... -

That's because they are cheap used and are really reliable. The LR is usually higher mileage and less maintained when it hits the used market...and beyond that higher cost to maintain and operate as a daily driver. -

That sounds like a stuck valve or a cam issue. Don't drive it...haul it back to the dealer under warranty. -

Heat it up with a heat gun and see it it just pops back. Unless you really stretched the metal it might go back to the original place -

...and this just in...the current Wrangler achieved a 1 star crash rating. That would put this truck on the immediate "NO" list for me. -
Fox 2.0 shocks
You can reprogram the default ride hide to +2" if I'm not mistaken. Most haven't cited issues with using the air system off-road. I'd be concerned about ruining the base ride quality by pulling them out and going full mechanical.
