Even in that light though, it doesn't do the Anthracite justice. They have a really great metallic color to them if cleaned and in the right light. Your pic kinda looks like a washed out grey... and brighter for some reason or another.- Surfrider77

It would be really great to get a controlled photo comparison (i.e.: same light level / angle) for the Anthracite vs Black. I've Been An Idiot
Look at it this way, you can point exactly to the problem and easily resolve it with a splice and some heat shrink. Before you figured out your minor blunder, you were looking at a potential mystery electrical gremlin. I'd rather make your mistake 100x over vs some random electronics glitch.- Surfrider77
