    A couple significant problems with that! First off, USB is only 5V. Secondly, USB peripherals usually only can draw up to 2 amps. Neither is remotely close to jump starting a vehicle. You need 12V and a few hundred amps (CCA) to start your average car.

    Again, on the "Safety".. it's all relative. It might add some degree of safety, but all of the previous years LR3 and LR4 has the same chassis structure and you don't see safety recalls on side impact fatalities and whatnot without those steps. I wouldn't hesitate to remove them whatsoever.

    4 lights are FAR better! I think you will struggle to find anyone to disagree that the Nav is pretty terrible. Just like you said, behind everyone else on the market. My 2013 in Sport mode will usually downshift and hold the revs higher. That's the entire point of Sport.

    I use the Voyager LR4 slider with steps and couldn't be happier. I think the stock LR step looks terrible and flimsy as hell. I can't fathom how they argue it adds safety. The Voyager ones weigh about 80lb a piece! Here's some pics of the Voyager sliders (not mine):

    You guys are talking about fender arch mods to accommodate 275/65 18" tires. In my experience, the limiting factor of tire diameter is the stupid frame horns. Have you guys modified those at all to fit the bigger (275/65) tires? Anyone have a spare modded Kaymar they want to sell? :(
