    Normally you will notice the heated windshield as it has visible lines going through it. It can take a few days even to get use to no seeing them.

    Easy fix is to remove the switch and hard wire it together. or Replace the switch and make sure it is working correctly. Transmission low means it is low on fluid, or your battery is going bad.

    That looks like something someone just put there. I don't think it has a purpose. A/C drains are under the vehicle at the transmission tunnel.

    Welcome to the forum, transmission issue can also be electrical as well. Hope you got it cheap. I just passed on an LR3 that needed a new roof glass, I could have bought it for less than $3,000.

    A '98 Disco will need programmed via the dealer or a specialty shop that has the computer to connect. They can also program additional remotes.

    I haven't removed without draining, but you need to fix the airbag leaks before it burns up the pump and the sensor needs adjust before it cause even worse issues.

    I don't have the 18 inch wheel option, but a tire calculator should be easy to show you. Discovery Series II * 255/65-16: Stock tire size. * 255/70-16: Just a bit taller than stock. * 265/75-16: Taller and wider than stock, possible to fit without lift. minor rubbing. Looks real balanced...

    Shopping for a Range Rover

    I would recommend mentioning it to the service tech doing the PPI. Better safe then sorry when it comes to timing chain issues. That is about a $7k fix.
