    Clean the MAF sensor and make sure the airbox is closed, and use a paper filter not a K&N oil type.

    Sounds like a MAF issue, it may be dirty or the air box lid is not on correctly. I would also check the battery just to make sure it isn't going dead.

    Disco 2 Drive Shaft question

    As long as it has grease-able fittings either will be fine. But do something very soon, when the driveshaft fails and it will, it will destroy the transmission and you will have a very large paperweight.

    I would say it is a 2 on the DYI scale of 1-10 10 being an transmission rebuild. Cost, Check Atlantic British for pricing or call around Nathan in my Signature can get you a good deal on Lifetime airbags.
