In the LR3, the simplest way to mount a CB radio is to use something like the Cobra 75-WXST. I mounted mine with the little controller part attached to the frame under the passenger seat, and of course with the antenna wire under the carpet, over to the drivers side, and then out the rear... -

Aluminess makes large truck bumpers, and can be seen on Sportsmobiles and similar. They are a good mfr, but I'm not wild about their LR3 rear bumper. -

How many words for snow do the Eskimo's have? Clearly, there is no one solution for all conditions. I grew up in Michigan, mostly icy snow. I have visited Utah in ski season, completely different. Do what the locals do. -

No I don't think so. The frame sits inboard another 6 or 8 inches. These sliders bolt only to the sills, where the factory KIT running boards and nerf bars attach. -

That's why I use Ratchet straps. Start at the forward tie down point, loop the strap outside the tire (towards center of vehicle) and up through the center hole of the rim, and back down to the same forward tie down point on the inside of the tire, and then tighten them up nice and snug. Do... -

David, I lash mine to the tie down points in the rear. I place it vertically up against the passenger side bulkhead, and use two ratchet (not cam lock) tie down straps, one fore and one aft of the tire. It is a secure hold, relatively out of the way, and easily accessible should you need it on... -

Sounds like it might be an issue. The factory wheels are: Offset is 53P (approximately 165mm or 6.5″ +/-) -

Sorry but that is bad info. Quite a few of the bits actually have the Ford oval stamped right on them...not to be confused with the Land Rover oval :-) I'm not sure about the filter though. -

It does not take a Rover specialist to do these brakes, they are very straighforward. Order the parts and sensor plugin from Atlantic British and hand them to pretty much any reputable mechanic and you'll be fine. -

The company that Ford outsourced the TR Control system to is the same company Jeep tapped to develop the TC system in the JK Wrangler. I assume its the same company that provided the system for the new Grand. It's all good. -
