Installing Rasta 4x4 Transfer Case Plate

I fixed the rattle on mine by adding a few heavy duty stainless steel washers to hold the plate off the frame 1/8" or so. Worked great.

    Hubcentric Spacers

A company out of Texas called Rover Accessories (that is quasi-in business) was selling some spacers, I think they were more like 15mm, and they wanted $400 for them! Milled from solid aluminum. It would be much cheaper and easier to go to a fabrication shop and have them made. If you are in...

What are the best tires for the LR3 ?

You made your own Slims? That's very cool! It's getting to be Calico season. Good idea about contacting Olaf. Hope to see you soon.

    Nitto 275/55/19

It has been said that the Toyo AT and Nitto TG are made on the same carcass by the same mfr. Which mfr that I might be I have no idea. So basically, I'm just spreading unsubstantiated rumors here, but rumors like this have a funny way of being based on truth.

What are the best tires for the LR3 ?

Looking good DuckDive! Ready for Calico again? Those BFG's should work much better than the tires you had previously:

What are the best tires for the LR3 ?

Isn't that weird? I guess it can be explained that tires with a load index between X and X fall into Load Range D, and so forth. I wish there was a chart for this....ah, but there is!: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tire_code#Load_Range

What are the best tires for the LR3 ?

Right! The load rating would be listed as 'D' or 'E'. You want 'E'.

    Air Suspension

Sounds like maybe your tire should be reseated on the rim. It might be air squeezing out of the bead when it deforms because of the curb. Or perhaps some other problem with the tire? I'd get the tire checked out ASAP.

    Where to buy Rasta 4x4

I agree. I swapped my II's for I's a while back and liked 'em better for trails like Nightmare Gulch, Calico, and so forth. Our rocky terrain benefits from the additional clearance. Stage II's got stuck here all the time: But its' no problem in Stage 1's

    Suspension Conversion

Please answer the questions in Post 9 of this thread. Please don't post a product that is not applicable to the truck in question. If you have a LR3 specific product, terrific! But I suspect you don't.

    You gotta love this company...

The problems you've encountered are fairly normal for this truck, and are likely to happen on the city or in the dirt. But if you only use it in the city, you are only experiencing 50% of the value of your money.

Soon to be Land Rover owner-few Q's

That's a great description of that sound! I know what it is. That my friend, is a dirty damper LOL. The temperature mixing valve in the HVAC system under/behind the glovebox area needs lubricating. Mine was done under warranty, so I don't know what all was involved, but the dealer didn't...

    Air Suspension Compressor

Sorry, I do not know where the intake is. There is a breather vent in the front left near the fluid inlets in the engine bay for the front diff, perhaps the compressor intake is in a similar spot? I will however, say that if you wheel in mud, that it flows into the soundproofing enclosure...

Miserably failed cross axle obstacle (need off road help)

Hmmm...not the advice I would typically give out on the trail. The motto is as slow as possible, as fast as neccessary. The key here is as someone mentioned earlier, got to let the TC do it's thing. The way to do that is VERY gentle, consistent throttle. Hold the throttle at one constant...

    Bushing Questions
