No, as I understand this process using a wheel equipped with the paddles and therefore an existing harness, we are just reconnecting to the main flat plug on the truck side. I looked at ordering the Powerful UK kit with the new wheel cover and paddles, but opted for a replacement wheel so as to...
Let us know. The first wheel I ordered off ebay didn't work, from a 2016 LR4. All those ebay wheels are salvaged from rigs and so the wheel I got may have had other issues. Anyways, here's my best tip, it will take you a loooooong time to figure out where in the slot to release the airbag. I...
I'm playing with a headlight conversion on my '12 wearing a summit bar. Is it just my lack of skills or did ARB design this thing such that there's not actually enough room to pull the headlight forward and out to service the light? The washer nozzle is clearly blocking the headlight. Has anyone...
I don’t ask this in a **** way, I’m honestly curious. What’s the thinking on buying the cheapest switch for the critical component that is responsible for starting the truck??
For the xenon headlight cognoscenti, I have the ARB summit bar on my 2012, and still have the halogens. Given the ARB was designed for the 14+ my, and I’m not too worried about aesthetics, can I just plug n play the 14+ Valeos WITHOUT changing the grill too? Or is the physical shape of the...
If leveling for camping is the goal, it does seem from most posts that people go xlifter. If you're like me and need to play around with total height, then you use the screen shown in your second post, first pic to add a saved height setting. Powerful UK has a video on all this too.
I used Mettleair out of Canada to order Push fitting, 6mm to 1/8 NPT females, ordered all the line and other fittings from McMaster-Carr per one of you guys' recommendations from a thread back in March when I was prepping my own kit. Haven't used it, but tested some of my fittings. All looked...
Totally happy with mine. Seems well constructed. My brother is a fabricator and he too felt it was up to *****. Installs with no issue on a T44 bumper. I don’t have a pic of it but there’s no issue. I think Safari gard might have a pic on their IG account.
I've not experienced that in my 2012. Question is does a hard reset remove any codes that may have been in there? Also, did you get back out and try locking and unlocking it again, either with fob or touchpad? It almost seems like something went wonky there in your sequence.
Ok found the antenna. It’s located under the rear bumper cover foam, center section. So if you delete your bumper as I did, you’ll need to reinstall the harness and antenna to maintain functionality.
Hey thanks buddy. I appreciate that. I’ll double check but I do believe I already had the rear sensors deactivated when I did the fronts for the front bumper.
At least it’s a minor annoyance but I actually appreciate that feature.
Try here. This looks like it.

Hey all. I’ve got a rear trunk that no longer allows me to open a locked trunk keyless by just touch. I’ve got a code for it. Anyone happen to experience? Only thing that’s different is I disconnected parking sensors from the oe bumper when I added the T44.
Edit, sorry maybe I’m talking about regular rrs Brembos that fit. That may need some more attention because I’ve confirmed fitment onto 18” Compos from others more knowledgeable than me.
Yep awesome pics! I just hit 1-year with mine too, but yeah, I don't got time for those awesome pics. I added some from our EMHT trip. Definitely check it out, starts out of Needles.
I’m not really doing a trip report bc I put a bunch up on my IG but here’s a sample from our week across the Mojave a few weeks back. In all I think we covered just over 300 miles on the East Mojave Heritage Trail. It was an awesome time running with the NorCal Land Rover Club!
