Sweet! I almost got that last year and was going to mount a fridge slide on it, but then decided it would be too high to actually get into the fridge without another folding step or something. But they look reasonable so good luck. Hope you find a clean solution.
Final Update for those that find this in the future. My problem WAS brittle broken wires between the switch and the plug. It wasn’t the physical switch.
I did the short test and got nothing, so I knew I needed to check the wires closer and couldn’t just pop in a new switch.
Because I didn’t...
Ugh so this issue has now struck me as well. No access to a multi meter so I stripped the trim and inspected the loom. All appears in good order with no obvious signs of breakage or bad connection. I’ve ordered a replacement switch to splice I’m hoping that it’s the switch itself. It would fire...
To be totally unhelpful, you brought it to a shop that proclaims to be familiar with these, and they couldn't figure out the fan or a potential thermostat?? Next step is to find another shop!
That's what I have, but with the APT compressor and air tank skids which all worked together seamlessly. Unfortunately APT is gone. I see Asfir has the tank guard though.
I know that LR. He's in our Nor Cal Rover Club. Look him up on IG LR4XFar. He's got posts on the bumper. Warn 100022 4Runner Bumper with "minimal modifications"
Ok done. Followed your link and yeah, my lights were even but high not surprisingly. Lowered several twists and fortunately the elevation adjustment screw is the top one that’s right there easy to see.
Alright so after ignoring the issue for a while, my euro beams are blinding oncoming traffic to the extent I was flashed three separate times on a 5 mile drive yesterday evening. How the heck do I adjust these beams down?
I’ve got the ones from APT and been happy with them. They’ve done their job on some rocky trails I’ve been down. For whatever reason the APT site seems to be down. Not sure if it’s still around. Here’s the YouTube link though:
Here's a summary from one of our most experienced club members that ran it a few years ago:
Just for reference RE: late model IFS trucks-
Yes, I did the whole trail with my LR3 on 33s without any body damage (I did break a control arm and a tie rod but fixed them on the trail). I did however...

Even if you decide to, on 32s or 33s, DO NOT run it solo. You're just asking for trouble. Aside from Fordyce, it's probably one of the top 3 most difficult in the state.
Our Club runs it annually, and they highly discourage anything under 35" tires and actually won't allow most 319s to participate. Last year the Newfender called "Kong" heavily modified by Lucky 8 ran it. The Rubicon does have many bypasses, but you're going to beat the **** out of your rig if...
Hi, you know that post is three years old and the member was last seen in 2021?? :hello:
Get the wheel arches from wherever you normally get your LR parts. I have black ones on my '12 and love it.
I did what you're doing now. I'm on the fence with all the under armor because I'm not rock crawling necessarily, more overlanding style off-roading. Assuming you're trying to build an all-around truck, I'd probably say you probably would want to consider either a roof rack or tire carrier. I...
From a little further down, you're right: "Its near flat loadspace floor (with 1.267 metres in length behind the 2nd row) easily accommodates everything from wetsuits and kit bags to camping and climbing gear."
