You just run it under the door sill plates and snake your way back to the rear area? For charging the trailer, you'd need some powerpole connection exiting where the trailer connections are right? Anyway, if I needed any body off service, the charging cable probably least of my worries at that...
Hey all. I’m looking for any guidance on finding a way to charge a trailer’s house battery from the vehicle side while running. My situation is attempting to charge a trailer battery operating a 50L fridge in the trailer, but which trailer doesn’t really have a way to mount Solar to...
I don’t have a ton of info for you but I believe fuel injectors can go ahead and be done when doing the chains and guides. But at 65k miles on a 2010, that’s crazy low miles or is that a typo?
When I did mine I just got em off Amazon. Worked well enough. Also I noticed at my FLAPS had very similar looking clips in their Body aisle on a carousel thingy. That may be an option.
Keep us posted on how you're able to swap compressors. I saw one video where the bracket didn't need to be removed if replacing like-for-like, but the Powerful UK guys pulled the entire bracket first. I'm in the same boat with a 2012, though when I posted a pic to ID mine, I was told it's...
Funny enough I went with a set of 4 compos in black and finally getting serious about off roading decided I needed a matching spare. Compos weren’t available and since it’s the spare, I saved a few hundred and bought one Tuffant steelie in the same spec as the compo. The US rep is super...
I bet since you’ve just got a spacing issue and the tray is steel I presume, any competent welder could easily fabricate and weld on the necessary “spacer” so that it’s solid. That’s an easy option. Maybe cost you a but more, but maybe LK8 will just refund you some and you can work on it to get...
Ok I actually used a phone and called Snomaster and talked to Todd which was awesome. He said the next batch is supposed to be on the container from South Africa by April.
Aaah yea I hadn’t tried this approach. The winch does want to bring the aft end in first leaving the front edge lower and at a bad angle. I’ll try again!
What’s the trick to cramming a 265/64 into the spare location? I finally picked up a spare and went to reinstall a BFG 265 and for the life of me can’t get it in there. It’s totally hung up on the “horns” near the rear exhaust. I removed the heat shield and deflated all the way to about 15 psi...
Auto-up is normal any time you disconnect. Just reset the windows. Can't speak to the low battery warning. It's possible it's a coincidence and your battery really is low?
