    Lr4 Brakes

Here’s some photos of my 2013 calipers. Not sure if there are any notable differences between these and the older ones, but I did realize that my brake pad clips don’t appear to fit correctly. Don’t mind the rotors. New ones are on the way. I’m sure these are way out of spec at this point.

2016 LR4: Parking Brake Fault Light (When EPB Not Engaged)

You might need to clean your sunroof drains if it leaked after rain. Generally the water ends up in the passenger footwell. We’ve had a few nightmare posts here relating to water damage. That’s where I would start. Good luck.

    Lr4 Brakes

That's an interesting observation. I'm rotating my tires today so I'll post a photo of my calipers and see if we can find a difference. I'm due for brakes too, and was curious if I've been ordering the correct brake pads, which it looks like I have. I have been running the Ferodo pads, and...

Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8

Yup. It was a pain in the ass. It's difficult to remove if you don't disconnect the AC condenser and evacuate all of the refrigerant. It was easier getting my replacement in, but that was after I figured out how it was going to fit. I think there are a few threads here related to the replacement.

Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8

If you have OEM coolant (and maybe other brands too, not sure) it will glow pretty good under a UV flashlight. I had a very small leak from my radiator. Coolant never even hit the ground.

    '13 LR4 headlight lens replacement

If you want good info on baking headlights open, you’ll want to do some reading on the retrofit source forums.

    LR4 brake issues

How’s the condition of your brake calipers? I’ve noticed the caliper pins are somewhat temperamental if they aren’t cleaned and lubed. I’m on my 3rd set of pads and 80k miles on OEM rotors without any warping.

    2015 LR4 Windshield Wipers

You won't have any buildup. I've been running them for a while and have zero issues.

Active windshield? What do you mean by smearing?

    HD vs non-HD package LR4

The rear locker engages if you accelerate hard from a stop. If you even wonder onto a dirt road with any amount of incline it’ll lock too.

    2015 LR4 Windshield Wipers

I think the silicone blades are the way to go. Brand probably doesn't matter a whole lot. I'm coming up on 2 years with mine and they still look and function like they're brand new.

    HD vs non-HD package LR4

On the 2014 and onward if you have the 2 speed transfer case you have the locking diff.

    HD vs non-HD package LR4

Never found a universal one that works either. The only useful one is JRL's Topix, but you have to pay for it now.

    2015 LR4 Windshield Wipers

Silicone blades are superior. I use PIAA wiper blades. https://www.piaa.com/sitech They're not exactly cheap but they do last longer. I live in Arizona and have had zero issues with the heat degrading blades, however I park in a garage 99% of the time.

Is this a failing crossover pipe?

If you have a black light/uv lamp, you can see the coolant pretty easily. It glows bright orange. (The factory coolant at least)

Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8

How are you bleeding the cooling system? If you do the vacuum fill/bleed you can pressure test it before running the engine.

Interesting read on Diff fill capacities.

replace the V8 with another V8 that has two cylinders capped off, oh and yeah lets supercharge it too.

    Front Bull bar Lr4 2014

You can, but none of this is factory as far as mounting goes.

    Off-Road and/or Overland Terrain Conditions

You could just send it with some recovery boards. Probably not the greatest idea if the ground is super soft.

Interesting read on Diff fill capacities.

If you have a rear locking diff it’s also a different fluid type than the front diff. Another small thing to consider.

    LR4 ECO with transmission fault

You would need to have the codes read with a Land Rover specific or professional level diagnostic tool. The basic code readers won’t display the transmission codes. I saw your post looking for an Indy to check the car out. That’s probably the best approach. How old is the main battery on the...

    Engine smell when flogging it

I run my engine pretty hard (towing mostly) and have never smelled anything from it. I had a leaky exhaust gasket on a different vehicle of mine. Sprayed soapy water on all of the exhausts connections (on a cold engine) and started it up, and it was obvious where the leaks were. Like others...

    Camshaft Adaption Values

I don't think we have a thread like this, but I'd like to see more data from other users on their camshaft adaptation values, in relation to our timing chains stretching. I'm not sure if this value should be taken on a cold or warm engine, but this is after a 25 mile drive. Taken while idling...

Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8

I'd replace crossover pipes before any signs of failure, but not the timing chain/guides/tensioners.
