    Lr4 Brakes

You removed the T50 torx bolt correct? And to get the rears off you have to completely untension the parking brake assembly. Mine were somewhat of a pain.

Seeking LR4 inline thermostat and crossover pipe Beta Testers

Ahh finally! I know a lot of us here have been waiting for something like this that is compatible with the NA 5.0 I'm on the wrong side of the country, but would love to replace my rear crossover pipe. It's always haunting me in the back of my head when I'm in the middle of nowhere. Good luck!

    Rear crossover pipe screw stripped..

PB Blaster and try and clean the head out. Maybe there is some dirt/debris in there. I'm not familiar with this job, but if you can get compressed air into it to clean it out that might help too. Or a soft wire brush.

    Lr4 Brakes

I use this with an old brake pad. Don't forget to remove the cap from the fluid reservoir. I'm sure a c clamp is also fine. Our caliper pistons don't need to be rotated or anything. https://www.harborfreight.com/disc-brake-pad-piston-compressor-63701.html The only trickier part with the rear...

    Alternatives to GAP tool?

There are a few YouTube videos that have links/instructions.

    Lr4 Brakes

Correct, however the plastic can become somewhat brittle and you can break them if you're not careful when you pull them out.

    Lr4 Brakes

Like ryanjl said, helps prevent rust/corrosion. The entire rotor is coated, so when you install them they look weird until you wear off the coating (5-10 stops in my neighborhood and it was gone) Brakes felt awful when the coating was wearing off, but it went away very fast (The instructions...

    Lr4 Brakes

I just finished my install of Zimmerman Rotors and Ferodo (OEM) pads. All purchased from FCP Euro and I couldn't be happier. All 4 corners brand new rotors/pads for $429.37 (Black Friday deal) The Zimmerman rotors are Zinc coated which was a nice surprise. I bedded them in yesterday morning and...

Door is acting strange when i open it

You can program new keys (and probably re program an old one) but I’m not sure if this would help your issue. I’m also not sure if you need a good working key to program a new one. Do you have another key fob to try?

    Showoff Your LR4

Lucky. These vehicles suck in slippery mud/snow or a combination of either. I was in a very similar situation to you in Moab that almost ended very poorly.

Made an appointment for timing chain fix

I actually had a whine/slight groan from my power steering and a fluid exchange did indeed fix it. I believe I made a post about my experience with that.

2012 Lr4 service required message “Reset”

Comes on every 15,000 miles. It's the factory oil change interval reminder (which is way too long, by the way.) If you have a 2013 or older I believe you need a diagnostic tool (such as GAP IID) to reset it. Or have the stealership or an indy reset it. There's some weird procedure to reset it...

Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8

Drop the skid plate and check the skid plate itself. Probably get a better look at the engine too.

    Suspension Fault - C1A18-64

If you search workshop manual or service manual on this site you should find a few. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B0jdD-ebSWTXU1t337RpMg-eTrc-ogdd/view - I think this is for a 2014+ https://www.mediafire.com/folder/5mhvubw2bens1/Dis4 - And this is for 2010-2013 Most of the stuff between...

    Blinking headlight

***********, hahaha. I change both bulbs at the same time (Xenons) so the color temperature matches. Over time as they age it changes slightly. I however did have 1 burnout recently, and threw in one of my old bulbs (Previous to that I had one explode...) They match close enough. Next time...

    Suspension Height fault

You're going to need to read the codes from the air suspension module. The IID tool is a forum favorite here, and might still be on sale at Lucky 8. The IID tool can also show what each height sensor is doing. Sometimes when you overextend a sensor off roading you can get a suspension fault...

    Suspension Fault - C1A18-64

Alright, sorry for the triple post, but the problem is resolved. It was the center valve block, the one that sits directly in front of the air compressor. I took it off my car again today, applied 12 volts to the 2 pin connector and could hear the solenoid actuating, so I figured it was able...

    Suspension Height fault

It could be one of your suspension height sensors faulting out, thinking it is fully extended (high centered) thus causing it to raise to extended mode/off road height. Do you run lift rods by chance? Have a GAP IID tool?

    Suspension Fault - C1A18-64

Alright, so looking at this diagram I'm pretty sure my problem is the center valve block. Air goes into a common galley, and then can go a couple different directions. After the air dryer/exhaust valve, it can go into the reservoir, the front valve block, or the rear valve block. Air makes it...

    Suspension Fault - C1A18-64

So cleaning the center valve block didn't fix the problem. When I used my GAP tool to deflate the reservoir, basically nothing happened. I could hear a valve open up, but nothing came out. Removing the air line that goes to the tank also proved that it was basically empty. It appears that the...

    Suspension Fault - C1A18-64

Yeah I believe you. Since it was the $0 option, I pulled apart the valve block that sits right in front of the compressor and cleaned it. It wasn’t that dirty, but one of the O rings was a little sticky. The smaller o ring to be specific. The fault is gone for now but my air suspension seems...

    Lr4 Brakes

I looked on Ferodos website and according to the parts catalog, I put rear LR3 brake pads on my LR4. At least I have the proper front brake pads on. I bought them from Amazon which I won’t be buying car parts from anymore, for the most part. Amazon says the front brake pads are rear brake...

    Suspension Fault - C1A18-64

Happy Thanksgiving from my Disco! I’ve been gifted this code. I’m going to pull apart the valve block near the reservoir and clean/inspect and go from there. Drove around this morning, went to the gym, and it threw the code in the parking lot during startup. Like others here I haven’t off...

    Lr4 Brakes

I'm running FDB1613 on the rears right now. I don't even think that is the correct part... FCPEuro also has FDB4105 and Ferodo's website says that fits our Discos. (2013 at least)
