    Only normal Height Available.

It really sounds like an issue with the front valve block (or air lines or air springs). I'd start with removing the passenger side front fender liner so you can access the valve block, then spray it with a bunch of soapy water and see if you get bubbles from one of the VOSS fittings. If not...

    2013 LR4 Suspension Compressor

If your valve blocks are in proper operating condition, pull the eas fuse, and you can remove the compressor without deflating the system. You still want some kind of fail safe beforebgetting underneath though.

    Highest mileage LR4?

I wonder if a larger production volume Ford V8 (for those of us with V8s) could get swapped in, if it had similar sensors. Could you use simple circuitry to convert the newer sensors to mimic the output of the original so that the LR ECU could run the engine?

    DIY Cargo/Sleeping platform

How often do you use the 2nd row seats? It's not super tall in there, and there's the **** for the center tunnel, but by my rough estimates all my recovery gear and tools should fit where the seats were. Probably my camp kitchen too. Not the cooler, though it's easy enough to move around so...

    DIY Cargo/Sleeping platform

Really clever use of the slide rails, nicely done! I'm looking to build a platform that would take the place of the 2nd row seats. Hoping I can fit most of my stuff there, and keep more headroom in the cabin. I'll probably still have to shuffle things into the front seats, but if it's just a...

    Headlight bulb recommendation needed

As much as they are dim in comparison to LED bulbs (or Xenon), the LED bulbs just blind oncoming traffic because they aren't designed to work with the reflector/projector your car is equipped with. I've stayed away from them. I tried "brighter" halogen bulbs, Philips Crystal Vision that...

    Highest mileage LR4?

I think you're missing part of it - cars get junked when the cost to repair approaches the entry cost to a new(er) car. If you're having the work done, Land Rovers are pretty expensive to maintain. My LR4 with 115k miles has a blue book value under $10k and a $5k trade-in value. It doesn't...

    pizza cutters...General Grabber ATx

This past weekend I aired down, and it made a noticeable difference in comfort on the trail I was driving. There were times I was in 4-Lo, but mostly because it made throttle modulation easier not because I was climbing anything particularly steep and needed the extra torque.

    pizza cutters...General Grabber ATx

Depends on the tire width. At 20 psi, my 255/60R19 deflect quite a bit, enough that I'm not super keen try to go lower.

    Showoff Your LR4

Went wheeling in south central Oregon, beautiful scenery. Ended up towing a buddy's Jeep 140-ish miles.

They might not have the same sidewall thickness, which might let them flex more when aired down. Just need to make sure they are rated for the load.

    maintenance history since new 2013

I got quoted $1300 to replace rear brake pads by the dealer, not rotors, just pads. The pads were $180 from the dealer, so not sure where the other $1100 came from, I didn't bother questioning it and just did it myself - it's not hard.

LR4 Transmission Fluid Change: Pan Swap Option

If draining through the fill port, you could start with the engine running, put in your drain pipe and a catch pan, then turn it off. Once it stops draining down you could use a fluid extractor to get more I guess.

    Highest mileage LR4?

I think any 190k mile LR4 would likely need some work, no matter where it came from. I figure if you've accounted for it as part of your purchase process then it's not a big deal.

    TOYO AT3 255/55/19

The spare is a very tight fit when new with the 60 profile. I had to use the tire wrench to pry it out when lowering.

Gobi Rack Install Question - help needed...

Your front mounting flange on the rack seems to match up with @CRYA's picture, while the pictures in the instructions show it further back. I'd bet they shipped you the wrong rack for the long roof rails, and it wasn't just the mounting hardware they mixed up, but the whole thing.

    2013 LR4 Suspension Compressor

I got a genuine Hitachi compressor from Amazon for $480. Genuine AMK seems to be a bit more. Install was straight forward, though tedious. You will need jack stands to keep the car up if the suspension loses pressure since you'll be working underneath. You need to determine which compressor...

    Highest mileage LR4?

There's also a lot of satisfaction to be had in knowing how things work, and that you can indeed be competent at doing the maintenance. The caveat is it's useful to have a backup in case your repair takes longer than anticipated because you're learning.

They are also torqued to a ridiculous level, which can make getting them loose difficult if your clearance is limited (i.e. you're on jackstands)

    2005 LR4 Key newbie

I've replaced the battery in my keyfob without issue several times, for whatever that's worth. Our LR4 came with just one key, and the indy shop had trouble programming things and wanted to throw parts at it, but the dealer got it sorted without issue. Getting an extra key from the dealer will...

    Control arm fail

Uppers don't take nearly the load of the lowers, which is why they last so much longer. Is labor in addition to the 4x priced parts, or is that the total cost including labor? If labor is in addition, ask if you can supply the parts. There is no reason they need to mark up the parts...

    2014 LR4 Leaking Coolant
