Not much fancy on my truck other than the power and brake upgrades. Velocity AP Tune and crank pulley was about $2k. Snout and new pulley was about $500 installed. Needed that anyway because of a broken coupler.
It was a software fix. I tuned it with velocity AP and they shut it off as an option with a flasher. I’ll have to dig into the dead battery this weekend. I just left it alone after installing the dash cam setup. But it is mighty dead. Of course that is also a great solution to the start stop...
Now keeping in mind that I have disabled the stop start feature permanently I find it odd that the stop start battery is totally dead. It was replaced at 45k miles or so by the dealer. I was thinking about using the aux battery to power my BlackVue dash cam in parking mode but then found out it...
Yeah I think I will wait for you to give Yours a look. I am not looking for an excuse to do more work to this thing. and frankly I think at this point if it is carbonized it will need to be blasted anyway before installing a separator.
Well there was some sludge but i can't tell if that was the supercharger oil or blow by given it's location. see the pics. Have to do a little research on those hoses as well. I am sure it can be done but want to know if it is worth the hassle i guess.
I don’t think this has been addressed recently about the scv6 so I thought I would bring it up. I don’t think the engine has port injectors, right? So does anyone have any experience with the scv6 with regard to intake valve coking ? Ever taken a look with a scope? thoughts on catch can...
Get the ebc stuff yourself. Have your Indy put then in. They’re a real brand and make great stuff. I would say at a shop rate of $75 no more than three hours.

Rear is on amazon too I...
That’s crazy town. Upgraded ebc front pad and drilled rotors are less than $500. And it should be maybe an hour or two max to install. So maybe 6-700$ max.
Had to remove the oil filter stand and water pump to get the snout off. No big deal really. Rear crossover job is helped by looking at a picture of the back of the engine which I found here on these forums somewhere and printed out.
Final note on this job is that there was next to no oil in the supercharger. Took all 8oz of oil and almost nothing came out. Lesson here being you may want to check your own oil level as my truck only had 75k miles on it and was way low.
And last snag before completion is that the new coolant Y pipe apparently is a new design. It does not fit the elbow and crossover that I had replaced a few thousand miles ago. So I had to go back to the dealer and drop another hundred $ on a NEWNEW crossover.
Here is a picture of the design...
Issues so far have been the water pipe LR050935 and it’s two bolts. It cracked on removal. Did not replace that pipe when we did the crossover because you need to remove the snout or whole Sc to get to it. It was brittle and broke.
And the water pump and oil filter stand had to come off...
