    Water pumps are known to fail between 50k and 75k miles. That would be a good time to do it. Or anytime you have your hands deep in the engine for anything else.

    Yes. Ca. But I won’t know until 2022. I would imagine that it would pass. I have removed none of the emissions components. And if it doesn’t it would be no big deal to flash it back to normal. Removing the pulley is also simple.

    Tune and two pulleys for the SC v6 blows away the v8. Mine is around 450-480hp. That’s an upside. Crossovers and water pumps are what they are. Updated crossover part design in 2016 but not sure if they made it on that model year or just became available for replacement.

    Yeah that. You can order those parts for cheap or you can get a rebuilt snout on eBay (with or without a performance pulley) and get your bearings changed at the same time.

    I was able to but chose not to as I do most things. I have a good Indy who does not charge much. It would not be hard though. Installing the snout replacement is slightly harder but not bad.

    Yeah for sure. Although in my case I also did a sonnax zip kit because we had the thing apart so it was the fluid or the zip kit or both that contributed to my dramatically improved shifting. Not sure but since it was not a huge cost I decided to throw some sh!t against the wall.

    I got mine pulley and tune from velocity AP. Got the crank pulley from eBay when I rebuilt the snout. Bought the snout with the smaller pulley already installed.

    Mines great. With the transmission fluid and oil and Diff fluids done recently it is super smooth. Tons of power. About due for another set of brake pads. Highway cruising is much improved up steep inclines. It will hold a taller gear at 80+. No issues so far that are tune/pullies related.
