Oil type specification for V8
MOst important specification for me in these trucks is the NOACK volatility scale for the oil because of the direct injection. 0w-20 tends to run higher than 5w-30. But high end oils can be acceptable at either viscosity. Also higher end oils have better additive packages like dispersants and... -

Intake Valve Cleaning
Well both intakes feed into the single plenum which feeds the throttle body and then the supercharger and then into both heads. So not sure how you would delineate one can for one head. -

Remove intake from throttle body, or use vacuum line, or just remove air filter hose from plenum. Rev engine to 2k rpm. Shoot can in bursts into intake stream until empty. Rev to 3500rpm twice. Idle for one minute. Let sit for one hour. Drive at highway speed for ten minutes. Done. -

Anybody have thoughts of the safety of using CRC upstream of their supercharger? Still effective when pushed through the SC and charge air cooler? Any change of it messing up the supercharger ?
