My wife had a 2002 Lexus RX that a dealer said had a rear main seal leak. Had it for years after that and it never lost a drop.
I feel like it’s a common money grab, but you can monitor it yourself to find out.
So after a few days the rear end is basically all the way down, but the front stays up. So, I think it is time to work on my EAS. I think my plan is to:
Get a air drier rebuild kit (one from lucky8 maybe) and rework the drier in case its getting crap into the lines, and its a 2013 (~75k...
My understanding was that the frame horns are to keep the wheels from entering the cabin in the event of a crash. They are part of the design of the crush aspect of the frame. If you remove them you are just reducing the safety of that part of the frame.
I love my ARB lights. I got the big ones and they have an amazing crisp beam. I got one of each, spot/flood.. the spot is 5 degree beam.. very tight and the 'flood' is hardly floody.. 10 degree beam. They are worth the money, but very expensive so the visionx are probably good also.
And.. if...
I used the existing fog light connectors that were already in the bumper.. same connectors just plug in. Super easy.
The zeon platinum accessory light connection is USELESS. They have a little wire that connects to the high beams, but it isn't so you can turn the lights on with your high...
I didn't find it too crazy to install DIY. I just took my time and over the span of about 5 days worked on it for an hour or two an evening. I was very slow and careful about wiring and little things. It could probably be done in one day on a weekend or something. Let me know if you have...
Yep, its the exhaust, where the bracket for the damper is at. It touches the plate. I spaced my skid down with washers to fix that. The very first drive I did with it without washers was crazy loud... lol.
This incident was one reason I stayed away from the T44 bumper. I like Eric and I have lots of his stuff on my rig, but the ARB is just flat out better engineered. It not only has been crash tested, but it has proper crush cans to try and prevent the impact force from setting off airbags...
1. Yes, no change
2. Would depend on how close the bike is to the rear hatch. I can measure for you since I have the same setup otherwise. If you can measure with a stock setup I could tell you. I can't put my bicycle on the closest spot on my bike rack with it on. I usually just take the...
Manual says. "Castrol SF antifreeze."
Shop manual says "Jaguar specification WSS M97B44-D" which is a ford spec.
---> Pentofrost SF (SF-G12+) coolant <----- its Pink & Clear, its WSS M97B44-D
Both are majority ethylene glycol formulas with a small percentage of "Organic Acid...
I put a 10k Zeon Platinum in my ARB Summit bar (which does work on all LR4 models, not just MY14+). I read that the motor and everything is the same on the 10k and 12k, they just changed the gear ratio. I'd rather have the line speed by default and do more double pulls anyway, so I went that...
I bought my 2013 new and I am at about 72k now. Only use it for trips lately so I can preserve it a bit. Don't plan on selling it. I feel like having a cheaper daily driver for commuting is great for land rover owners. Let's you tear them apart and fix things and have a parts run vehicle. :P

I want that protection so my headlights and outer wings don't get screwed up by an impact. My headlights are not obstructed at all.
My ARB bar was also designed and built in Australia, first and foremost to meet Australian design rules. I had to wait for it to ship to me from there. We are...
the prospeed option looks decent for a winch, but it looks significantly weaker in terms of structure for front end protection. But depending on your goals, might be great. Certainly less weight, but I hardly noticed a difference when I added my whole ARB Summit setup. The winch is damn near...
White could look very cool, but I already had so many black accents that I just went with the storm trooper look. I've seen others with similar color schemes only with the black wheel arches and it looks good too.
