My '13 let's me start without the key fob and drive far away...
I keep getting the key not detected message and it also doesn't want to lock for me half the time. I push the button and "BEEP BEEP!" ... then I step literally 6" closer, or lean into the side a bit more.. and it works. I've changed the battery in the fob.. i dont get it. I have wondered if... -

I just saw something the other day, someone mentioned Meyle HD control arms. They have some kind of upgraded ball joint. Wonder if they work on LR4 (I think the website says LR3). -

I decided to keep my LR4 after all.
Just to note, if the wheels fall off, it is most likely either the wheel bearings or the silly lug nuts with the cheap tin covers. ;) Both fixable. -
T44 rock sliders - Test fitting (long post)
I could, but the texture of this coating alone is like 300 grit sand paper and the lower trim parts are black, so it wouldn't work. ;) I'll get them satin black to match the rack and ladder and hopefully at some point the T44 rear bumper and ARB summit bar out front. -

I have mine sitting on my garage floor. I need to get them powder coated still. I called the zincnation folks. They said that these are aluminum coated. (they also offer zinc coating, which does not take powder coat well). -

AC control knobs getting sticky.
They are rubberized on purpose though. They probably just gum up over time with gunk. I'd use a very mild soap or something to gently clean the crap off. -
Wheel Arch paint protection?
I'd just wait until the arches have too much character and then have them repainted. Good chance if you get trail damage it could crack or bust one anyway, so save the budget for replacement. -

It will NOT interfere with the hitch. I tow my boat with 265/65/18 using the factory removable hitch.
