My observation from driving both is the zf8 has closer gear ratios and has more efficient shifting points. I care about the 2 mpgs, especially when I'm getting 10-12 mpg from mix city and freeway driving. On sand/dirt/off road, I average 7-9 mpgs. -

Elring is the oe manufacturer on this specific gasket and you can get them pretty cheap $4. I have the elring gaskets on and they're fine. -
Throttle body coolant line mystery
The pipe runs to the rear crossover pipe that connects to both heads. Which helps fill the block from the rear and gets just enough coolant into the block to complete the coolant circulation, but it does NOT completely get all the air out of the system. stainless steel brake lines
The rear comes in a kit with both inner/outer ss lines and hardware, full replacement to all rubber lines. The front is single ss line per side with hardware in its kit. Again, I did mine back in 2017 if I remember correctly.
