    Disabling door sensors?

If you leave your gap tool plugged in it'll display the voltage in the center display. Watch it next time you're out, you should be able to see when it is charging.

Quick update. Lower control arms are rebuilt. Did some rust mitigation on some welds in the engine bay. New motor mounts are in. Transmission is back in after getting seals replaced. Motor will be here at some point next week. I had some random bracket on the ground and spent a bit...

There's got to be a kit to go from a GM bolt pattern to the ZF transmission.

Zip kit and fluid change, now won't go past 5th

I was getting hard shifts between 1 and 2 near 100k miles. Changed pan and fluid and nothing changed. Reset the transmission adaptations and it was back to being super smooth. My guess is that the zip kit was unnecessary and just resetting the transmission adaptions would have improved things.

2008s came with the Bluetooth version of that bushing mount. You're good to go.

IDK. I couldn't discern any markings. It was noticeably stiffer than the passenger side. Lemforder replacements should be here by the end of the week.

Lower control arms are off and got a vice grip rebuild while I wait for ball joints and bushings. Driver's side boot was torn. What is this blocked off fitting on the back of the intake manifold? I know this was developed during pretty lean times at JLR, but this makes no sense to me...

You can try new O2 sensors on the relevant bank. Should probably replace them with the new cat anyhow. Toss 3 new sensors in and if it goes away, win. If not swap them over to the new cat.

    Bullet Proof Control Arm Bushings

Going to admit that I was a little slow digesting why someone would need a bushing that can withstand a direct hit from a rifle round.

Temperature sensors. Uro makes an aluminum replacement for the connector between the oil cooler and the water pump. I just got a nissens, but I don't have a motor, so I can't vouch for it. I put a nissens in my 240 Volvo wagon a couple years ago, been fine.

Door seam (inner driver) rust? 2016 LR4.

Drain hole on the bad door clear? If you pry the window gasket back a bit and pour some water in does it flow out? I wouldn't have thought of this without the pictures

New long block and supercharger shipped yesterday, should be here in a week. I'll see what I want to order for new bolt ons and sensors when it gets here. I'm thinking new cam solenoids and sensors is wise. First new parts day today. New radiator and new (reman) alternator. Thought about a...

First gen cayenne could be had with a proper transfer case and a locking or limited slip rear diff. Could be had with a diesel too. Making that choice would also require the clown putting on the make-up meme.
