    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

FWIW - I also considered the OEM ones's too expensive and went with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0843PW9PN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Mine are clearly swollen; they look absolutely fine other than a 22mm socket doesn't fit!

    SCV6 Crankshaft Torque and Sequence

Here's the video I was referring to: It's interesting to watch around 8mins but then the final tightening starts around 15min40s

    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

Mine's a Kona Honzo Carbon, third one in here, borrowing a friends bike rack! Likewise built at home!

    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

Nice, I like the 1up bike rack as well (as well as the bike on it), have the same on mine!

    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

Make sure you don't over tighten them when putting them back on! Note also that bolts have a tendency to swell over time so rather than being 22mm they end up being closer to 23mm... I believe the bolts are steel with a secondary stainless steel layer to look nice! The underlying steel core...

    SCV6 Crankshaft Torque and Sequence

LR Time (YouTube) have worked on re-connecting the crank to the block; I suspect they cover the bolt sequence and torque if you're willing to watch the respective videos; they recently rebuilt a LR4 engine but not sure if the diesel and petrol engines are the same? Good luck.

Current Brake Pad and Rotor Recommendations?

Well done BigBriDogGuy - you have started the journey :). I agree with your approach, don't do the last ski run of the day if you're feeling tired... It's massively empowering to do your own work! Take your time. Well done.

    2011 LR4 TIMING JOB

    2011 LR4 TIMING JOB

I also have this job in my future and like others have recommended I am in the process of "getting the knowledge"; I reckon this is going to take some time! I just watched the following series of videos and although it's a Range Rover Engine that also happens to be super charged there's value...

    Cosmetic for sun damage?

What are peoples thoughts in terms of a good polish? I tend to use Autoglym super resin polish, it's a lightweight polish: https://www.autoglym.com/super-resin-polish-1 Curious to learn about other good ones, like powershift I'm in the process of polishing my LR4 regularly to spiff it up.

Toll-road RDIF sticker on LR4 windshield

This is true, but on a snowy cold morning I'm always thankful for the heater element... Different horses for different courses I guess!

    Nickname for LR4?

Also, on the Doc theme is a great British TV series called Doc Martin :-). He drives a Lexus but has many of the traits of Jeremy in that he's crotchety... No name yet but thinking about it!

Question about Suspension Faults and Blowing out the lines

I'm sure you'll keep us posted :-). I'll cross this bridge when I get to it, first and foremost would be the timing chains! Thanks.

Question about Suspension Faults and Blowing out the lines

I also used silicon on my o'rings; I left the car for about three and a half weeks while traveling and didn't notice any appreciable sagging; I have to think the valves are pretty reliable as they're not that complicated in terms of their operation (it's three solenoids). What do you think of...

    Suspension dropped while in traffic

Do the overnight test as mentioned by f1racer328; leave it longer if you can; that will confirm if there's a leak. I suspect however, as others have pointed out that this is just a levelling adjustment and you don't need to worry. There's no other reason for these to drop unless there's some...

    Good Used Buy

FWIW - Price seems consistent with midwest prices; 134K miles and age. It's certainly in nice condition. I just spent three weeks in the UK; there are so many L3's and L4's on the road I suspect prices are lower (didn't look but saw a few other Land Rover vehicles that appeared to be quite...

What kind of leak is this?

Thanks for keeping us updated; I have this job in my future so seeing the pictures provides some inspiration... I plan to do timing chains at the same time.

    P0500 VSS OBD2 "A" circuit

I think I changed the front right (passenger side in the US) first; when that didn't work I changed the rear right; power of deduction! The cables were not that expensive so I purchased both front and rear at the same time. Front...

    P0500 VSS OBD2 "A" circuit

Yeah, it was the rear right sensor I believe; changing the sensor took probably 15 minutes so it's quite easy.

    Timing Chain tensioning issue

Thank you so much for the details, reading your comments makes me realize I still have a lot to learn before I tackle this project!... I see you also did the crossover pipes which I was also planning to tackle at the same time (makes sense since the valve covers have to come off!).
