    Your local dealer will have the fluid you need. Also, the power steering is variable assist- soft at slow speeds, then firms up as speeds increase. The varaible assist solenoid in the steering rack may be bad.

    You could put an elbow on the oil level sensor housing, attach a long tube. Run the tube to the top side. Insert your dip stick in the tube.

    There are lots of twists and turns on the oil suction tube. Not sure a dip stick would work.

    Since you have a relationship with the dealer. Have them contact Land Rover about a Goodwill repair. If covered, you'll be responsible for part of the repair.

    You're welcome. Any transmission shop can do the transmission front seal. To R+R the transmission pays 7.0hrs. So, figure that into your costs.

    Looks like it was leaking long before the CV axle failure. No, transmission won't be damaged from CV axle failure.

    Top pic is the transmission front pump seal leaking. Bottom is probably residual fluid from the CV axle being replaced.

    You need to spray the front valve block with soapy water, to check for air leaks. Do this while the suspension is at the normal ride height.

    Bummer. Exhaust cam clearance is 0.25 mm ± 0.02 Inlet cam clearances doesn't have to be checked, they have hydraulic adjusters.

    Yes. If all they did was head gaskets, there's no need to mess with the tappets. If they fell out and were put back in the wrong spots, then you would have issues.

    Supercharger? Yes. Remove the power leads that go run across the wiper cowl. The go to the start stop module. Makes it easier to see what's going on. Just remove the connections at the batter and fuse box. Flop over to the left side.

    Are all the doors closed when you cycle the height switch? And, does the amber status light ( on the height switch) go off when the dinging chime go off? If it does, definitely electrical. Could be compressor or valve blocks.

    Could be coolant in the bolt holes. Blow out the bolt holes. Use a screwdriver to seat the Y pipe in the block.

    It happens. The valve stem will protrude through the cam bucket.
