Reset Procedure:
"With the engine running. Windows closed. Lift up on the window switch, hold for 5 seconds and release. Repeat once."
Worked beautifully, my drivers door window is behaving again. Thank you
@Rover Range.
With that I ran the test for
@txfromwi, I can confirm there is a slight detent feel to the switch in both up and down directions, so, if I'm winding the window down a gentle push on the switch will start the windows downwards motion until I remove the pressure from the switch which stops the window moving; if I push a little harder on the switch I will feel it pass the detent position in it's range of motion and the window will lower to it's lowest position regardless of what else I do with the switch (so even if I release the switch having passed the detent position the window will keep lowering automatically). The same behavior can be observed when winding the window up. Given you don't observe this behavior it would appear you have a faulty switch.
A side note, the irony is not lost on me when I say "winding" - for those of us old enough to remember you used to have to wind the windows up and down with a window winder! Old habits die hard!
